This definitely can be rated as the best movie this year, although it's still not yet year end. However, this is also the "darkest" movie that I've ever seen.
You will never know, who will be the next victim, people can be killed in any second, as long as there is Joker around. The judge, the polices, even the Batman himself, although he's in the dark, but the Joker was hidden behind him, he'd never find out where he is, what he want to do, and don't mention how to catch him. This is the first time, the superhero himself found so helpless in front of the enemy.
The "Batman Begins" let the people saw the new Batman, but this time, the Joker has dragged all the attention. Yes, the late Heath Ledger has made himself a star on this movie, more shinier than all others, even the main character himself. After his representative movie "Brokeback Mountain", he has made another breakthrough for himself.
We had lost such a great actor after Heath left, however, for himself, he has been in the 2 great movies, there is nothing to regret in his short life.
However, although the Joker has become the main attraction, Batman is still playing a very important role in this movie. As what Joker has said, "You complete me." They have to be together to make things work. Just like this time, Batman and Joker, has pushed this movie to the top of the movie chart and become a history and legend for Batman, and the movie world itself.
