Congrats, Thomas!

I would say it's another 'class reunion party'.

Whenever there was classmate got married, his or her wedding dinner would be our class reunion as all the ex-classmates would be gathered again. And we talked about our school times, played around. At the moment, we were all like riding on a time machine, back to our past, when we were still secondary school students.

I like the time so much, listening to their jokes, watching them played, making fun of each others, doing crazy things like we were still young. That's why I really enjoyed joining this kind of 'gathering', although it's quite 'expensive'... haha!

Congratulations to both of you and wishing you live happily ever after!

Meningitis

If I wasn't trying to find the information of the disease that happens to the JPJ trainees in Melacca, I wouldn't have known that the name of this disease actually is Meningitis (脑膜炎).

The situation is quite scary as it's just happened like that, without any precaution. Out of the first 16 people which have been confirmed hit by meningitis, one of them has died. After the Influenza A(H1N1) has caused public panicky around the world, this is really a bad news to freak everybody out.

What's happening to our world?

Next week one of our previous trainer Kaname-san will be visiting to Malaysia from Japan. Melaka trip is one of our initial plan, but now, even if they still not afraid of anything, my parents would still be scared. If they're not going to cancel it, maybe I'll just out of it.

Suspected meningitis: Total hospitalised rises to 32

Gifts from friend

Whenever my foreign colleagues went back to their home country, they'll always bring back some souvenir for us, most of the time they'd bring us some local candies.

Where else delight, Cyberjaya

There are new competitors for Padi House and Old Town in Cyberjaya. 2 new restaurants have been opened since May, 2009. All the while I was just passing by, never really thought of stepping in.

This day, I decided to walk into the new place, order for some new things.

The restaurant name called "What else Delight", selling some light food, like kuih and fried beehoon, main course is vegetarian food. What I ordered was sweet and sour fish rice, and...... I forgot the name of the desert.

They use most of the space of the old car park to build the new restaurants, it looks nice, right?

This is sweet and sour fish rice, vegetarian style.

This is what we call "Tong Shui" in Cantonese.

The good thing is, their food prices are much cheaper than the Old Town and Padi, a fried beehoon is only RM2.50 (although still higher than other places), but of course the portion is much smaller.

But, I still prefer the environment of Old Town. Don't ask me why, it's just the feeling......

Little nephew in 21 month

On the Labours’ Day, it’s called another new month for my little nephew.

There’s not much progress in his development, expect he’s growing taller and bigger. He still doesn’t eat rice or porridge as his main food, so now he’s still fed with milk everyday, about 6 to 8 times per day.

He’s still not able to talk, not even give out some simple words. But good thing is, he’s learning how to point on things, like pointing on his cup when he wants to drink water, pointing on something like rice or bread, if he wants to eat.

Now the diapers that he uses become lesser everyday, because he’ll inform us whenever he wants to urinate or do bowel movement, of course it’s not verbally, but giving us some signal, like pointing on his little potty, or even pulling it out from the sofa and hand it to us.

We are gradually teaching him how to recognize the simple objects, like ball, duck, bear, car, etc. He still can't really respond to what we say to him but has learnt to nod whenever he wants something, and shake his little head when he doesn't.

My sis is starting to work on shift in May, that means, she has to work during weekends. This actually quite frustrating to both of them and also my parents because she can no longer take the little one back during weekends. But so far, things are still going well. Just hopefully she can overcome and fix that in the near future.

He's a cheerful little angel, no doubt about that.
