Happy New Year 2010~~!!

Happy New Year 2011~~!!

It's another new chapter of this century. We have past 11 years after millennium.

2010 had been a quite difficult year to the world, natural disasters are getting worse. Many countries are having earthquakes, volcanic eruption, typhoon, rain storm, snow storm, tornados..... it seems that the news never stop. I really hope that such disaster can be reduced or even 0 disaster in 2011, if possible.

For me, it's quite an emotional year in my workspace. People come people go, and we are keep having different points of view to different things, and trying so hard to reach a consensus. We are trying to work things out, it's just our way of doing things could hardly be the same. Last year, Susan, Jeff had left, Bruce joined. And finally, I can put down my "TL" title and move on to my new role. Hopefully everything will be ok in this year.

Last year the only family trip that we had is my Singapore visit with my parents. This year, I hope that we can visit a further country, let's say China.

Wishing you ALL THE BEST to all my family and friends~~!!

Christmas deco @ Mid Valley

As my friend just asked about the Christmas deco at Mid Valley, and now here it is. Because I was a bit rushing that time, actually I didn't take photos for every angle. If you really like to see the full decorations, you can visit to MV by yourself... hehe

This year, their theme is like Lilliput, everything is just so BIG~~~!!! I feel myself have went into a giant world, with big Teddy bears, big presents, big houses.........

Happy Malaysia Day !!

September 16 is Malaysia Day.

Frankly speaking, I don't really get the meaning of "Malaysia Day" and the purpose of setting today as a public holiday, although we are happy to work on public holiday (reason? hahaha... money lah)

I like Malaysia for certain, and I agree with the concept of "One Malaysia". But I think if we go back to 50 years ago, when everybody are living together without the boundary of the races, that time is more "one Malaysia" than now.

Many people are using the racial topics to try to make some conflicts, who set the boundaries for us? Who differentiate us with different statuses? Who uses the religion to control the people?

I really wish that Malaysian can live peacefully and happily together~~ ever after.

Raya deco @ Pavilion

This is the new Raya deco at Pavilion. The golden shiny trees. Usually people will put green to represent Raya, but this time they chose the properous color, it's a good creativity too.

And there is a fashion show inside, it's the Muslim lady designer, so here are the models and their clothings from the designer. It's quite different from usual designs, the audiences are apparently lesser, but this can be unique too.

Happy Chinese New Year~~!!!

This coming weekend is Chinese New Year, which is the big day for the Chinese around the world. For this year, it seems that everything is coming too fast, before I could buy all my New Year stuffs, it’s already around the corner.

Anyhow, in this roaring tiger year, I wish all my family and friends, a very healthy, peaceful, happy and wealthy year ahead. Wishing for the world peace, no more wars and natural disaster. Wishing for the prosperity, so that people can buy gold bullion for their New Year presents. Also, H1N1 viruses go away from earth, politically stable everywhere, in brief, everything will be the best in next year.

Happy Tiger year and wish all your Dreams come True~~!!

Happy New Year 2010~!

It's already a decade since the millenium. 2009 wasn't a peaceful year, H1N1, economic crisis, political issue, natural disasters... it seems the bad things happened all the time.

For the next decade or even next century, I wish for a peaceful and cheerful year, to all my friends and family.

I didn't go any countdown event yesterday. At the very first second of the new year, I was still in front of my computer, surfing the internet. Today, also no special things to do, just went to Tesco with my family. Although it sounds a bit boring, it can also be peaceful... isn't it?

On Christmas Day

Christmas deco at Leisure Mall

I met with my best friend on this holiday, I thought she would be busy as this is supposed to be their 'big day' for her religion. Good news is, she still had time to meet with me in the afternoon.

We were leisuring around in the Leisure Mall, chit-chating, visiting bookshop and video shop until the dinner time. After that, I was brought to a 'special place', in purpose by somebody, where I actually didn't really feel comfortable with it.

I don't have any prejudice against any religion, but for me, I just try not to limit my thinking into a certain region and set any boundary on it. I just believe that, any thinking that is initially good for human being should be accepted.

To be frank, I was a bit shocked and scared when I knew it was done in purpose. Of course I respect any thinking for anyone, but I just want to keep myself to be free, that's all.

Anyhow, it's still happy to be with my best friend on this holiday.

Merry Christmas, My Friends!

It's a festive season in December every year, everybody is celebrating Christmas and New Year. This December, co-incidently, out of 4 weeks, 3 of the Fridays are public holidays, which means that, except the first week, every week we could have 3 days off. Of course we are not included because we need to work every weekdays, even if it's public holiday.

This Christmas, I went to visit my best friend who just came back to Malaysia. It's great to have a friendship for more than 10 years, I precious our friendship and the time we have been together. I wish for her happiness and health forever.

X'mas deco @ Pavilion

It's another year of Christmas again, most of the shopping malls have setup their Christmas decorations. But in this year, I found that many shopping centers have the same Christmas trees, are they running gdf also? hahaha... :P

At Pavilion, the most impressive decoration, is their beautiful glassy sleigh and reindeers in the entrance. It looks beautiful and glowing in the night. This is not like other places in the town, as what my friend told me, if you don't look at the 'background', you would thought that this is some place at Singapore or other country... what do you think?

Happy New Year 2009~!!!

Finally, it's officially turn the calendar to year 2009~~!!
Again, Happy New Year!!

I should be very tired and sleepy now because actually I woke up around 5am yesterday, to start work at 6. But just want to finish some 'jobs' and waiting for my brother to come home from countdown gathering, I need to stay awake... If really cannot 'tahan' then will take a nap...

But the good news is, starting from today will be my 'long holiday'! Including today as a public holiday and weekends, I will have 6 days leave! You can imagine how excited I was when I set my out-of-office notice.

Finally my pc is fixed and at least I can use it for temporary (not sure if the virus is still survive and hide somewhere in my hard disk).

I still don't have any plan to spend my leave, got too many things in my 'to-do list', but maybe I'll just end up doing nothing but sitting and sleeping and playing computer games and surfing net at home... haha!

Happy New Year~~ and may all your wishes come true~~!!

~~ Happy New Year ~~

It'll be 2009 in another few minutes, however I can already hear the firecracker's sound everywhere (isn't it illegal?). Everybody are just so excited to welcome the year 2009.

Year 2008 is filled of many unfortunate happenings, from natural disasters (earthquake, flood, cyclone, snow storms...) to economical crisis, everything is just out of control and people are getting more sufferred from days to days.

New year, is a new hope. Hope that the prices of commodities will not get higher, hope that our petrol price will lower down again, hope that the economy will become better, hope that the world political status will be stable.... Wishes EVERYTHING the BEST!

Happy New Year 2009~~!!

My desk's Christmas deco

Our center has a competition for 'best-deco' desk (something like that...), the committee will select which desk has the best Christmas decoration. I don't put much deco on my desk, budget is one of the problem of course.

This "Christmas Tree" is given by my colleague, same as the one who 'sticked' the Christmas Tree on my table, you can see from my previous post: My Christmas Tree.

Thanks Emily! Again, for your effort and heart...

This very cheap little small tree is the only Christmas deco that I bought for myself. It's small, but I do like it put aside my bear bear. Just wonder if my CPU's got any radiation effect on them? haha!

My Christmas Tree

One day, while I went to work, surprisingly, I found a "Christmas tree" on my table.

The Christmas tree was made of color papers, and it's sticked on my desk. Very surprised, and I feel very warm and touching.

Later, I found that it was a gift from my colleague, Emily. She was so lovely that she made the Christmas trees by herself and gave to other teammates too.

Thanks, Emily! And Merry Christmas to you too!
