Happy New Year !!

Time really flies, before you aware it's already come to the year end.
2008, what a great and lucky number for Chinese people -- easy to get wealthy.
It's not really good for me because I'm getting one year older and it actually another 'milestone' in my life.
There is lots of items in my wishlist, most of them I still unable to achieve at this moment.
However, I'm still keep working on it, hopefully one day I can fulfill my dreams, at least one.
I like to go travel abroad, like to buy a car, get myself a laptop, learn to play piano (hahaha)...... etc.
Am I too greedy? Maybe.... but the most important wish for me, is all my family and friends are healthy and happy. Just as simple as it is. Other thing, just the bonus for me.

The beginning of the new year, is the beginning of your new life and new dream.
Wish that all the people I know and I care of will be the BEST in the coming year and forever.

With all the Rose's Perfume and with all the lights in the world and with all the children's Smiles... I Wish U that ur all dreams comes true. *HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008*

My new office

It's the second week since we moved to our new building. Before we moved here, we have lots of fancy imagination and expectation, how the new office will look like, how is the environment. Especially when we saw the 'photos' (future) that we received by email.

But when we really moved in, thing seems far from our expectations. The building is actually not fully furnished, even renovated yet, and the facilities are not complete. The tools and equipments are everywhere, workers are walking around, the elevator is still covered with papers.

Now the cafeteria on the ground floor is ready to use, and there are some vending machines and free drinks are available, besides the 2 fridges, there is no sight for the microwave. It's what I so curious about, I thought it's our company property and should only be brought from the old building? then we don't have to eat cold food.

Of course there are still lots of things need to be improved, the good thing is, this is our own building, at long as it's new and the management is willing to improve, we still can expect on them.

The temperature in the office still in a very freezy degree, I'm having a runny nose everytime I'm on my desk. The blinds are still not setup yet, the sunshine from the outside has made my eyes feel very uncomfortable. Hopefully they can install it before I get serious astigmatism.

Christmas@Home

This year, I stayed at home on the Christmas day, with my mum, and little baby nephew.

If you don't go out, you sure can't feel any Christmas mood at all. Even the TV programmes, other than the promo, nothing much is about the Christmas.

I've planned for some Christmas "activities" before the day came, like having a Christmas cake, going to every shopping mall to look at their Christmas decorations and feel the atmosphere, buy a Christmas present for the little boy and my sis, buy the Angel light for my best friend (I like it when I first saw it, but when I looked for it again few days before Christmas, it was all sold out... T_T)........ but I haven't made it for most of them. I just managed to buy Christmas cards for my sis & friends. Am I really so busy?

I'm not religiously celebrating Christmas, but I really like the Christmas atmosphere, warm, joyful, close together...... I wish that someday, I can have a real white Christmas in the other country... (before the global warming heat all these places up until it's not snowing anymore?)

Do you have any wishlist for your Christmas & New Year? Whatever it is, wishing that all your dreams will come true.

Merry Christmas !!!

Hi All my Friends,

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008!!!

Off the line again

My house pc was 'attacked' by a spyware again, and again, my brother has to format his poor little pc.... again... haha! coz he's the owner of this poor little square box, so he has to take responsibility to 'cure' it... and he doesn't allow me to 'touch' on his precious after all.

But the worst thing is, I cannot online at the moment coz my brother will take his time to fix his precious, and put a "Do Not Use" sticknote on the monitor. That's mean I'll off the line when I leave the office.

He blamed me for always browse to the spammed website and caught some viruses and spies from the web, and he end up gotta re-format his pc again. I know it might be my fault... but it might also mean that his pc's security is not enough, there must be some 'wall' to block all these 'spies' from getting into the pc.... anyway, it's too late for that.

Think of getting a laptop soon, any recommendation?

Good accommodation for your journey

I likes to travel, but always afraid that, if I travel during peak seasons, it's difficult for me to get an accommodation. And how can I find the available hotels or other accommodations like resorts for me to choose? And also, I hope that I can find other useful information such as transportations that will facilitate the travel.

Recently I found a great website that can help me on this, the Hotel Reservations provides you almost all the information you need. Besides the hotels list available and comparison on different aspects like rental, facilities, promotion and so on, they also provides other information like car rentals, flight bookings and so on. And it's worldwide, isn't it great?

You can also find vacation packages, special promotions and great offers from here. So next time if you plan to travel, no matter it's for vacation or duty, just don't forget to get the information and offers here.

Back to the Office

This is my first day to our new office building, in another 1/2 hour is the end of my office hour.

Since it's a brand new building, everything is fresh and new. I nearly went to the wrong entrance as our 'neighbour' is just few steps away, and the security guards... I think are wearing the same uniform... :P There is no significant borderline to identify two buildings, some employees who drive even realized they were in the wrong entrance when they showed their pass to the guard. ><"

Actually this building is still about to be fully furnished and renovated, you can see paint marks everywhere, some floors, poles are still covered with papers, vending machines are not ready, pantries are still quite empty with only one water filter machine there. And in my place, since the blinds are not setup, the sun shine through the glass directly to our desks, it's too bright until we can hardly see our screen clearly.

And actually we also got a 'breaking' news about the new change in our team. I'm not in the list, but sometimes it's just contradictory that you can get everything satisfied. However, being in the same place for more than 2 years is quite boring and that's showing no progress for your career. Yet I still love this place, just see how long I can 'tahan'... :)

Anyway, it's a new beginning everything is still about to be built up. Hopefully we can get more 'surprise' in the coming new year, and I can't wait to see that.

Last day of my 'vacation' -- busy day

Today is my last day of my 'long vacation', I've done so many things on this day.

First of all, I went to get my blood test in KL, they just did the sampling and I shall get the report this Friday. Then I went to have my brunch after fasting for > 10 hours. Later I went to the post office nearby to send some Christmas greeting cards and bought some wang pos. After that, I still had time to do my teeth cleaning at the dentist opposite. Before 2pm, I've reached Leisure Mall FF to join the BodyCombat class.

I tried to get some Christmas presents for my friends and sis in the mall after the class, I don't think I've got enough and what I was looking for previously, the angel light ball (it's what I called it... :P) has been sold out... :(

When I took the bus to KL, it was getting dark. I returned the rented VCDs to the store, and then bought some magazines and books from the shops nearby, by the time I reached the station and got on the bus, it's about 8pm.

What is busy day, isn't it?

another wedding again...

I believe this is the last wedding dinner I was invited for this year, it's year end after all. And this is also the latest wedding invitation I've received. Pig year really is a auspicious year for getting married and giving birth, so there are lots of people chose to marry in this year and lots of 'piggie' babies were born.

She's my college mate, our chairlady when we were joining the community service in our second year. Actually we didn't really keep contact after college, I just got to connect with her again when she had opened a blog and I knew that she's getting married.

Today's dinner, again, of course was another gathering for those members for C13. It's glad to have so many old friends joining together, talking about our sweetest memories and knowing each other again. I have to admit that, we're all 'grown up'. It's quite sad that we are getting older year after year, but on the other hand, isn't it great to have such 'old friends' beside us? Friends can keep contact even after so many years, and when we meet each others again, we can still be closed and chat happily, it's not easy. That's why, it's really a precious time for me.

Sherry, Congratulations and Happy Wedding!!!

Lost an oppty again.... ><

Again, I've lost an oppty. Although I'm not really understand the topic, I was still click on it. However, it's still lost because of slow response.

Looks like I really need to get a broadband for my home pc, if I keep using dial-up, I will still need to hold myself unsleep until 2am...... :P As per advice from my friend in the gathering, even she complains about the broadband service she's using, she couldn't imagine how someone can 'tahan' on a dial-up speed.

I have no choice, still need to use it now... coz the pc is not mine.... of course it's not an excuse. I'm planning to get a laptop next year.... hopefully I can make it. Then I can do everything I want on that thing and no need to be 'tortured' by this snail-like internet surfing anymore.

Our new "home"!

Finally we got our own RCC building in the Cyberjaya. We are supposed to move on Friday, but I've already applied leave on that day, so I might not be able to join the cheers with my colleagues... Maybe I should cancel my leave and join the happiness with them. It's our first ever building after all.

Today should be my last day to be in my current office, I've empty my desk before I went home. Maybe I'll miss this place as it has given me a lot of memories. I don't know what will it be in our new 'home', but it's quite excited to expect for it.

Fast and easy loan services

Have you ever think of buying a house or a car, but afraid that with your poor credit, it's not easy to get loan approved from the bank or normal financial company?

There is a good loan service provider, which provides even Bad Credit Loans. You can apply for any loan, for your car, house, study and so on. The procedure is just simple, and the approval process is very fast. You don't need to worry about your current credit situation and it's without any application fees!

Even if you're not planning to buy car or house, you may also just apply for Personal Loans for your personal use, or just a payday loan on a short term basis. And it's good news for those with Bad Credit Credit Cards, it offers you the low rate unsecured cards also to the secured version, aka prepaid credit cards. This will also help you to build up your credit standing again and apply for the most suitable credit card.

Its low requirements, lowest interests and instant process will help you to get through your hard times. How much more you can expect from that?

It's good to see you again!

Finally my friend has come back from her working holiday in UK. We had a gathering yesterday, with some of our buddies since college time, listened to her travel stories and experience throughout the years.

Actually her precious experience is quite a unreachable dream for me. I like to travel too, and I was so impressed when she showed us her photo album about all the places she had visited in these 2 years. How I wish I could be as brave and determined like her, to chase her dream. She has been stepped into almost all Europe countries.

It was a lifetime experience and you will not regret for the rest of your life. If you have the same dream and you are still below 30 years old, you can refer to this: working holidaymakers.

Your furniture at home

When you have been working for a whole day and come back home, you will always hope that you house is so comfortable to relax your body and mind. It's the same when you are spending your free time at home. That's why a set of good Furniture is always very important.

The most important thing in your bedroom, of course is the big and warm Bed. I'm so glad that I have a queen-sized bed in my room, since my sis was married and moved out, I can sleep on it alone. Having a good quality bed meaning that you can have a good sleep and healthy body.

Another place cannot forget is your living room, it's the place where you have your family all stay together, or serve your guests. Having a good Living Room Furniture and make it clean and tidy is the way to impress your guests, and on the other hand, you will also feel more comfortable. If your living room is spacious enough, you may also get a sectional sleeper sofa, you can have a nap after meal without lying on a bed.

Furniture is the most basic element of your house, and it really shows your living style. So you have to choose the most suitable furniture that come with good quality and affortable price, and you can have better quality of life.

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Today is my mum's birthday. It's hard to imagine that, she's already turned to 60.

She has been spending most of her life to take care of us, put so much effort and sacrified a lot to contribute to the family. Now it should be the time that we repay her back, and let her take more good care of herself.

Recently she has been quite emotionally disturbed and a bit depressed, especially when she has to stay at home most of the days to take care of my sis's baby boy. We are trying not to let her take care of the baby always, my sis comes back more frequent to share the responsibility.

We have treated her a dim-sum lunch justnow, later we will take her to dinner. Today is her "holiday" and hopefully she can really have a deep rest.

Wishing that we will always have a happy and healthy mum.

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Just a minute....

I thought I could grab the opportunity justnow. But unfortunately, what I can blame now, is the extremely slow internet connection I have now.

I thought I have pressed on the "Reserve this Opportunity" button... but when I came back a few minutes later, its status already changed to "All have been reserved". What's happening?!! >O<"

First call for the new guy

Today before I started to work, just right after I stepped my feet into the office, my teammate was excitedly telling me that, the new guy has taken his first call and asked me to help him out.

Luckily, the caller was our regular user. She is quite nice and friendly, when she knew that the person who took her call justnow was a new guy (of course I was the person who told her... :P), she was a bit surprised but could expect that, because he sounds shy and nervous.

Actually he's still under training period and should not take any real call from our users yet, but since our call frequency was quite high just now, only one person was not enough to handle, that's why he has to pick it up. It was lucky because he didn't get the call from our difficult users, but on the other hand, it's also a good experience for him as a new agent, hopefully he could learn some lesson from his very first call by now.

Let's Party!

This is the place where we had our annual dinner - the Beach Party of RCC (Regional Call Center).

We usually had our annual dinner in hotels in very formal way. Like last year, it was held during the Christmas season, so its theme was Christmas. This year, they want something different, an informal way of dinner. Attendees don't have to wear so formal, no long sleeve shirts, no gowns, no hair-dos or make-up needed (although still some of them did...).

The party was held in The Mines Resort Hotel (it's called "Palace Beach & Spa"), in a man-made 'sand beach'. It's actually a sand-bedded swimming lagoon, if you don't see the buildings out there, you'll have a short while thought that you were in a beach resort. :P

The attendees this year looked lesser than a year before, where we had Christmas dinner at Sunway Hotel. Maybe because of the venue, or limited seats available at the beginning, and it's not opened to all employees yet. Or maybe, there were somebody couldn't make it tonight. Most of the wedding dinner, parties, will be held during this period.

We had some games and competition for this event, although I didn't really join them, but actually I also felt the merriness and the party atmosphere. Even our 'bosses' were having fun, laughing, dancing, enjoying themselves.

This is our 'Big Boss', the RCC Manager.
My teammates. The girl who 'covered' herself is very protective to her 'privacy', I respect that, so I don't 'expose' her in the photo... :)
This is Ling Ling from the other team, but worked tightly connected to us. Their team, can said is our higher level management team.

Happy 4-months old to Boy Boy!

Today my nephew's 4-months old. For these 2 weeks, he was still woke up with a start, and then come with a loud cry. We are still looking for the reason, but luckily for these 2 nights, it's getting better. He still cried, but not that loud and long, and easily comforted.

When he's in good mood, he likes to 'chat' a lot! Although he can't really speak, he still responds with "ah", "er" and "ang-koo". I 'demonstrated' to my sis just now, how he actively responded with me during our 'chat'..... :) He really enjoys it but not everybody can 'chat' with him, this little fella is a bit "selective"..... :P

Now he's drinking 100ml of milk in every 2 or 3 hours, and he can sleep longer at night (in normal situation). He doesn't like to lie down now, when he wants to play, he prefer sitting still, of course with the support on his back, he still cannot sit on his own yet.

My parents and sis has taken him to the doctor few days ago, and after a few checking, our little fella is growing like a normal baby now, including his body weigh. It's really a good news because we did put on a lot of effort to take good care of him. But still, he's immune system is still weak, we have to keep him away from bacteria, gems and virus.

Beach Party Tomorrow.....

Our company will have a beach party tomorrow. It's just a 'replacement' of our annual dinner. 'Seats' are limited. (I thought annual dinner, all the employees should be invited?) But it end up have to send out final notification email, announce that there are still more tickets available.

Don't be too happy, we'll not going to the seaside, although it's a "beach" party. It's just a 'man-made' beach in The Palace of the Golden Horses. I wasn't really so keen to join the party at the beginning as some of my teammates also not so passionate. But after they decided to attend, I also join them. It's a 'teamwork', isn't it? haha

I still haven't thought what need to be prepared for this party, but I'm really quite expecting it.

Good news for bloggers

Do you like to blog and want to make money from it? If you did, then here is a good news to you.

There are so many opportunities for bloggers to get paid for their posts, bloggerwave is one of them. What you need to do is simple. Just sign up, submit a blog, and then find the opportunity, create a post, after it's approved then you can get paid. It's just easy, isn't it?

This is drawn from a hidden folder

Kidnap in the city

Recently there happened so many kidnapping cases, sometimes the kidnapee can be found, but most of the case the kidnapper will just kill them after they got the money.

Just like the case we heard yesterday, news was spreaded by internet. I got the message from the msn,
one girl was kidnapped in a town by a car with 3 men. The message even provided the car number and asked all the people to take notice on the car and report to police if you found any trail of that.

Today I read the news again, the girl has been released after her family paid the ransom. I was shocked when I heard the kidnapping case, and glad that she has been released. But there are still one thing I'm worrying about: are those
kidnappers arrested? or even spotted? If not, then they might do it again.

Nowadays a girl alone is no longer safe no matter where you stay or where you go. Kidnap, murder, snatch, rob, even rape, most targetted victims are women. We can't count on the authorities to protect us, we have to learn how to protect ourselves.

Think about your insurance

It's found that, the insurance buying behaviour in Malaysia is still very low. But the good news is, it's growing from time to time. If you haven't purchased any, it's time for you to really think about it.

There are many insurance company in our country, but if you would like to find the best policy that suits your needs, you may go to some Quoting Insurance Services site on the web to find out more. The types of policies they provided including Term, Whole Life, Universal, Key Man, Second to die, Group Policies, Mortgage and even Smokers. Just depends on your requirements.

One thing that is good for this website, you can Save Money on Insurance Premium, lower down your monthly or annual payment and get the best in return. If you are the employer and would like to buy a group policy for your staffs, you may also refer to Corporate Insurance Plans for Employers. It's resourceful and help you to make your decision. It's interesting, isn't it?

Buying insurance is not only to protect yourself, it's also a way to protect your family and your love ones. So take a deep consideration and hopefully you can get the best one for youreslf.

She has left???

Until today, only I found that my 'neighour' has left the company!!

I was so shocked when my teammate told me that she has left ONE MONTH AGO! For almost a year I had sat beside her, I never realized that she has already left. I still haven't had a chance to say goodbye and farewell to her! This shows that I'm really a worse 'neighbour'. I even can't remember when was the last time I saw her....

Jennifer, sorry for only noticing it by now. I still haven't said goodbye and farewell to you. Hopefully you will forgive such a neglecting 'neighbour' like me. Wishing you all the best and good luck!

'Chatting' moment

Since the baby boy was 3-months old, he's starting to babble. All the sound he could make is only "ahh", "ooh", "ooo"...... I've once heard him saying "ai-ya!" but there was just co-incident, because he never pronounce that since then... :)

Now, night time is his 'chatting' time, when put him on the bed, he likes us to 'chat' with him. Although he can only respond with "ahh"s and "ooo"s, and now he can pronounce "ang-ku", he still very enjoy the moment -- We can tell from his facial expression, because all the moment he's just keeping his smiling face.

But still, he sometimes looked like he's annoyed when I couldn't understand what's he 'saying'. He'll respond with angry "oh"s or frown, like blaming me why I so stupid that can't understand him... =.="

Boy boy, I can't speak 'baby language', just bear with me if I couldn't understand you. I think only my mum will know what's he mentioning about with only those "ahh" and "ohh"...... mother is mother, isn't it?

My second presentation

This is my second presentation for the application. And this time, my TL and boss were around, so you can imagine how stressful I was. ><"

As far as I could remember, I believe that I didn't have any English presentation since I was graduated. For most of the people, it doesn't mean anything, or not a big deal. But for me, it is quite a big challenge.

I could say the presentation was not prefect, but at least has gone through well. And hopefully they could understand what I was talking about... at last tomorrow I can have a rest and don't need to have anymore training for some time.

But still, I need to finish work at night.... T_T

1am in the morning

It's 1am in the morning. While I'm still sitting in front of my pc, suddenly there was a sharp and loud cry came from the master room. The baby is crying again.

He's just as punctual as an alarm clock. Almost every morning, between 12am to 2am (sometimes 3am), you would sure hear his cry, so loud until you couldn't ignore. And this has been last for almost a week, nobody knows what he wants, we just try our best to comfort him and lulled him to sleep. And normally my parents will be the one who stay by his side, he feels more secure with my parents, because they are the people who take care of him most of the time.

Another 4 days to go, will be his 4-month old. I'm still checking for the growing progress for a 4-month baby.... although this little fella is not like others. It can be a reference at least. I don't know how long he'll still be like this, I just hope that things will go better gradually when he's getting elder. It's really not easy to take care of a baby, especially an infant. And it really has taught me a lesson......

My First 'Training'

Start from today, I'll work 11am-8pm shift for fortnight. Because of the newcomers still not ready yet, before they have gone through all their trainings and be well-prepared to go on live, I still need to rotate the shift with other agent in my team.

And this is my first time, conducting the training for these 2 new agents, and preparing the presentation materials for them. It's not good enough, I admit that. But within this short period, I just hope that they will catch up as much as they could.

I have been giving a training to new agent previously, but that time it was a one-to-one training, I don't need to prepare so much and all the documents are not that organized, I have to browse everywhere to 'dig out' whatever I thought it's useful and tried my best to let him understand.

This time, I decided to make my own material, because I don't want to tell others about something that I don't even quite understand what is it.

Hopefully they could catch up with the knowledge asap so that we can have one more agent to back us up. I don't think I can afford another 2 weeks night shift anymore.

Insurance, your security of life and properties

Do you buy insurance? In our nation, most of the working people will have at least one insurance on hand. Life insurance is for yourself and your loving family, and you need to buy a Home insurance when you buy a house, and get an Car insurance for your car. It's not what you can totally escape from, unless you don't own anyone of them.

I don't own a car nor house, but I do have some personal insurance with me and I need to pay out almost 20% of my monthly income. Yes, the amount is quite huge for me. That's why some of the people thought that, buying insurance is increasing their financial burden. But you have to believe it, it worth more than that. Insurance, is something that you will only know how important it is when you need it. It's something that to protect your life, your health, and your properties.

If you wished to buy a car, don't forget to compare car insurance within different insurance companies so that you can get the most coverage and valuable policy.

Regards from an old friend

This afternoon, I received a msn message from one of my old friend.

We have hardly met with each other since we were graduated from the colleage, and then I've lost contact with her. Until recently, I met her when she accepted my Friendster's request, and then I knew that she was married. I got her blog URL from one of our common friend, and from there, I knew that she's now having her first baby girl.

I'm so glad that through the internet, we can meet with our old friends. There are so many platforms and websites that we can keep contact with our friends, or even search back all our 'lost' friends that you thought you might not be seeing them anymore.

She message me because she saw my display picture and thought that the baby is mine... haha! Yet I still feel so happy when I received her message. We might not be so closed during college time, but sometimes when time change, things might changed too. Like one of the friend (who is going to be instructor) I met in the fitness center, she used to be my friend's housemate in college, I think we had just met a few times only, but when we saw each other again, we were getting closer and talk a lot.

Thanks for still remember me, and I'm so glad to see you all have a happy and enjoyable life. Keep in touch and all the BEST to you!

Stardust

Actually I wasn't so impressed about its preview or movie trailer, like what was commented in a local newspaper, it can be voted as the worst movie trailer for this year.

However, it's still a nice movie, really. Magic, witches, fantasy, pirates, pretty girl like a princess or fairy (the 'Star'), smart, brave and good-looking guy like a prince, good and evil, adventure....... it's like a bedtime story just same as what we heard about Snow White, Cinderella, when we was young? or some others like a prince fights with a fierce dragon to save the princess......

It might not be the best movie in this movie, but it really a worth-watching movie, if you like fantasy, magic and adventure.

New look for the Pyramid...

After so long of renovation, finally the most popular shopping mall in Sunway -- The Sunway Pyramid has its new look.

This is the second "new mall" following by The Gardens that I've been to yesterday. The difference is, The Garden is a new shopping mall in Mid Valley, but Pyramid is just expanding to another new building.

If compared with The Gardens, I prefer the design of Sunway Pyramid. At least it makes me feel more comfortable. Maybe they're targetting at different customers range, so it won't be the same.

Happy Birthday, Lu Ee!

Here comes my another friend's birthday.

She is my BEST friend ever, since our high school. She likes music and art so that she studied music and now working as a music teacher. Both of us like music actually and we had joined brass band together before, but we like different genre of music, she prefer classical, jazz and sentimental, but my favourite is pop, hip-hop, dance and some kind of rock... maybe that's why we never discuss about music before, haha! However, I really admire what she has accomplished for music and I hope that she can continue to achieve higher.

Wishing her all the BEST in the future.
Wishing her to have easier and happier life ever.
Wishing all the happiness will come to her, and all the worries and unhappiness will keep away from her.
Wishing her to keep her smiles always and be cheerful all the time.

Thank you for always be by my side and sharing my every laugh and tears. You'll always be my best friend in my life.

I'm sorry I couldn't be able to send you your birthday card on time. But still you will get my greetings online. :)

A birthday is a special day for a special someone - someone like you, and this greeting comes with warmest wishes for the things a very happy birthday bring.

Happy Birthday 2U!!!

Hello Friend!

Today I met with one of my old friend today. I knew her since we were in college, and then we joined the same society -- First Aid Unit. It's something like St. John, but of course, it's not that 'professional'......

Before that, I told my another friend about I had an old friend ask me out, without second thought, he told me that it's probably she wanted to 'throw' me a 'red bomb' (wedding invitation). According to his experience, if there was someone who you never meet for a couple of years, but suddenly ask you out, either he or she would like to invite you to his/her wedding, or he or she is doing direct selling. It's kind of pessimistic thought, but it's what his experience.

Luckily, she didn't throw me any 'bomb'. She just asked me out for a gathering, talked about how are we getting on recently. We had a walk to Mid Valley, and 'visited' the new shopping mall, The Gardens. Although it doesn't impress me much, at least I've been there for once.

I like to hang out with friends, especially when you are meeting with some 'old' friends. It's precious moment when you have chance to keep in touch with someone you knew. But because of busy working life and some of them already have their own family, it's no longer easy for you to meet up. Keeping a friendship actually is not easy, that's why I precious every friends who keep contact with me.

We went home at about 5pm. I guess she is going to get married a year or later. Maybe we will not meet with each other again so soon. But we still can contact via MSN and Facebook. Internet is amazing, isn't it? Now I'm expecting another gathering with my other coursemates. It's just up to them to decide the date, time and venue.

The Gardens

This is the first time I walk into The Gardens. A new shopping mall next to Mid Valley Megamall. Frankly, it doesn't impressed me too much. Maybe I put too high expectations when it was first opened, especially when I saw the beautiful pictures on the press, magazines and my friend's blog. But when I really stepped into the place, I was a bit...... disappointed.

Most of the shops in the mall are branded shops or designer's shops. One thing for sure, people like us (average-income cosumers), are not their target customers. However, I'm still quite amazed by its "Hogwards-like" design of the walkway, if you saw them from the ground floor, it just seems like the crossing staircase in Hogwards...

The other shopping mall I would like to go is Pavilion, which is located in the golden triangle at Bukit Bintang. As I heard from my friends who have been there, it also target on those weathies, as most of them are branded shops. I just want to see their designs and structures.

It seems like most of the shopping malls are expanding. Besides Mid Valley, and the new wing in 1 Utama years ago, there comes a new phase for Sunway Pyramid too. I might be there tomorrow, and then I shall see what is the difference and how can it impress me (or maybe... not?).

Free Rice

Recently read a news for this on the local newspaper. The Free Rice website, provide you a chance to learn new vocabs for free (nothing special for this though... haha), but the most meaningful thing is, at the same time, you can do charity too!

If you have selected an answer correctly, they will donate 10 grains of rice through the United Nations, for those hungry people for free. All you need to do is to find the correct meaning for the word, from the 4 options below, just by one simple click, you can help people.

10 grains of rice, for most of the people like us, means nothing much, but imagine if there is millions of internet users around the world click on it in one day, there will be a numerous figure. And it has been proved by the satistics on the site: since it first launched on 7 Oct 2007, up till Nov 12, the total rice that has been donated has reached 1,519,627,180 grains. It's amazing, right?

So why don't you just start from now on, go to the website, learn some new words, and give a helping hand to those in need.

A Joke?

From the conversation, we just found that the new guy might not necessary joining our team. I was so shocked when I heard that.

Is it some kind of joke or what? If he's not hired for our team, then why the boss asked us to talk with him? Were he using us to help him to interview for his other team? Why we were never been told about that?

I knew that because of the constraint of human resource and cost reduction, it's not easy to find a new agent for a team. Not only us, all the center is having the same problem. Not all the left employee can get a replacement. But if that is the case and he's really not for our team, then they might possibly making fun of us.

That's why I insist that he should go and confirm with our boss. We can afford any delay at this moment. I only promised to take the shift for a fortnight, but not any longer. Otherwise I might consider to give up......

But still, everything still need to be confirmed. We just wait and see how thing goes. Maybe things will come better, I'm not sure. Just hope that it won't be a dissappointed decision.

Happy Birthday, My Friend!

Today is one of my best friend's birthday. He used to be my coursemate, and colleague too. Actually we do not have much in common, but somehow we are able to become best friends and I can share so many 'information' with him.

As a big fan of the most scary Marilyn 'Mad'son, I hope that he could find more happiness and meaningful work for himself. And hope that he can have all his dreams come true.

Happy 'Bird'-Day JinYan!

p/s: my another 'super best' friend's birthday is coming soon... it seems like it's a happy November time... haha!

New garage floor for you

How does your garage floor look like?

For most of us, garage is more neglected part in our house. If you had found that your garage floors is cracked, oil-stained, or getting dirty, it's time for you to change it.

The CarGuyGarage.com can provide you all the solutions that suits your requirements, they are experts in garage floors, tools and other garage equipments. You can expect a new garage floor with epoxy coating, or just covered with tile.

My house is more than 20 years 'old', so you can expect the concrete flooring already old, stained and cracked. Maybe it's time for me to get a new garage floor for my house.

Are they allowed to do that?

Recently watched a reality television game show, an Asian version. Contestants come from different Asian countries, in that episode, 2 Malaysian team were still in the top position.

One of their challenge, was that the contestants had to drive by themselves, from KL city all the way to Shah Alam stadium, so, they had to pass through a highway.

One of the contestant from don't know which country, was overtook by a Malaysian team.

"It's them! The Malaysian Team!" One of them shouted.
"Wow! They are fast!" another one said.

"Are they allowed to do that?"

Just update...

Nothing special is happening recently....
Still sitting in front of the PC in a freezing office everyday.
Still watching TV every night after dinner.
Still try our effort to comfort the little fella who always cries and very fussy at night.
Sometimes go online, surfing around and blogging....
Is there anything more meaningful to do?
I'm still looking for it.

New Guy has come

Finally, we got a guy joining our team. He starts work since yesterday, but because I was on MC, I only gotta meet him today.

I'm not sure how he'll perform and how he will get along with other teammates, now it's still too early to judge.

Actually he got nothing much to do today, it's normal for new-comers. They need to schedule his training sessions, furthermore he still doesn't have access to any application yet, it's quite hard to guide him through without giving him any visualization. I had the experience before that why I understand.

Just let him has some "Honeyweek" currently, give him some basic documents just for reference. Later he'll know how busy he will be and will precious all the time he's enjoying now. Haha!

Camera? Phone? or Camera Phone?

I used to take photos and somehow I prefer taking photos to get myself in the shot. But I never spend a lot in the cameras or any reference i.e. magazines, books, etc. Until my brother suddenly so fond of photographing and crazy about it, I start to find my interest in it as well.

Actually I don't really own a camera before, either it's bought by my family members or it's lucky draw gift on my sis's company dinner. The first ever camera I bought was about 2 years ago, it's a film camera which I thought it's cheap although digital camera was very popular during that time. And it is the only camera I paid for it.

Now I'm using my sis's digicam, it's not a up-to-date camera, and its function and quality not very good as well. But no other choice, it's the only digicam I have now.

Some of my friends would buy a camera phone rather than just buy a camera itself. For them, having camera, phone, mp3 player and FM radio.... at the same time is very worth it. They don't need to pay extra money to buy each separately. But for me, I prefer to get something that has good quality just for a single function, it's like you can't get a mobile with high-quality camera functions, unless you are willing to pay for high price. Of course you also can argue that it's my excuse as I can't afford for a high-quality camera phone.

It's just depends on your choice: a camera, a phone (mobile) separately, or get yourself a camera phone and has the both function at the same time?

Enjoy Your Holidays with great offers!!

It's a holiday season again, in last October we just have our Halloween, now the Thanks Giving and the most important holiday in a year, Christmas is just around the corner.

Everytime when it comes to a greeting season, it is quite a head-ache for me to find a best present for my friends. Sometimes things are not easily to get on stores because you have to spend whole day to walk around in the shopping complex or some departmental stores and you still couldn't find the thing you want.

Luckily, there is a great place for you to get all your gifts in an alternative way. couponchief.com is here to sort things out. You don't need to worry about what to buy anymore. As I just had a browse on the website, it provides you all the coupons for most of the well-known stores around the world, you can send the coupons to your friends as a gift, or just use the coupon to buy the presents yourself. It sounds interesting right? With the coupons, you can also save a lot for your holiday gifts.

So why don't you try out a way that you don't need to go out and hang around for your gifts and furthermore get special offers?

I got some ideas for my wishlist in my mind now, it's good to get some Baby Center coupons so that I can save a lot for his Christmas gift.

Of course I also won't forget to get some Dell Coupons and buy a laptop for my father as what he always wish for. I still need to explore more to find something for my brother and sister also to my best friends too.

What will you get for your family and friends? Just visit the website below to find out. Enjoy your holiday!!

Getting a Broadband

It has been so long, I have thinking to get a broadband for my home.

Yes, I'm still using the dial-up networking to connect to internet. It's quite out and it's extremely slow. Even a simple website browsing will take me minutes to hours. By the time I finish my jobs, it's already a few hours later.

Actually the reason why my brother still hesitating to get a broadband at home, one is because he is not at home all the time. He stays outside and only come back during weekends and holidays. Another reason is, since we are not using our home pc always, (most of the time I stay in the office and when the time I come back, it's already night time.) so it's not worth to get a 24-hour broadband service, furthermore actually the internet charges in our country is not cheap enough if compared with others.

But as the slow performance really getting us mad as most of the websites are upgraded and we have to take more time to load the page, moreover, there are still so many websites we can't get in due to the speed. He'll need to download some free softwares and large files from the internet in the future, if we still using the "snail line" like this, it'll highly affect our internet usage.

But, which is the best performance and better value broadband service provider in the market? Do you have any recommendation?

Have a Nice Trip

Have you ever experienced that, when you planned to visit a place, but after you arrived, you found that all the hotels were full? or you have difficulty to find the best rate and best services hotel in the area?

I still remember the last time when my aunt and her family paid a visit to Melacca, but since they didn't make any reservation, they end up couldn't find any accomodation because it was the peak holiday season and all the hotels are fully-booked. They had no choice but to turn back and stayed in our house for a night.

This bad experience had sploit their holiday mood, but had taught them a lesson: Remember to get your acommodation before you go to the place. Now we don't have to suffer that, you can find a acommodation with full information and reserve it online.

With Hotel Reservations, you can get all the useful information about the hotels and other accomodations from the web, do a comparation before you make any decision, and make your reservation with best rates, even rebates!

This website is simple and easy to use. Just input the date of your visit, the city that you will visit to, the numbers of rooms and people, then they will find you the hotels available in the city. Including information such as hotel description, location, special promotion, facilities, properties, rental, and so on. They will also provide you the photos for that hotel so that you can have a better view on it. There is no other website can give you that complete information and best rates at the same time.

Besides hotel reservations, you may also find the car rental, flight booking, vacation rentals, vacation packages, and all other information in Hotel Reservations. No matter you are just planning for a short visit, a business trip, or a family vacation, this is the best one-stop website that can get your accomodation and some transportation settled in all around the world. You don't need to worry about the price because they will help you to get the best.

You can explore the website to find out more interesting offers. Next time if you are planning for a vacation, remember to get everything prepared and you will find youself more enjoyed during the visit.

MC for today....

Just had a 2D1N trip to Melaka on last weekend, but end up getting skin allergy and have to take MC today.

If you asked me, I can say this is a quite interesting journey that could have a chance to relax myself and spent some time with my fellow colleagues, as usually I don't have time getting along with them during working days. (Because my desk is quite far from theirs, and most of the time I'm busy doing my works in my places seldom chat with them.)

However, I also found out so much differences with them. One most obvious thing is that, they likes to drink but I don't really enjoy it. I understand that drinking is one way of sociality, but everytime after I drink, I'll get skin allergy, I hate the itchy feeling and the dizziness after the drink.

It's not tasty, it makes you feel uncomfortable or even suffer for the rest of the days, I don't understand why still so many people are fond of that. I think yesterday's drink will be my limit for my life, I won't take so much and get myself suffer in the future...... I hope.

Get Paid for your posts

Lots of friends of mine are bloggers. They like to blog, like to record down whatever they saw, they experienced, the new interesting stuff that they found and would like to share with others, their travel experiences.... everything they will put on their blogs and share with their friends.

I was recommended by one of my crazy blogger friend that, since I like to blog so much, why don't I do it for some values. That's why he introduced me the payperpost website. From here, you can get paid for the thing you have written or posted. The topics are variety, you can choose the one that you are interested in, and then give your review, your opinion or even just introduce it to your friends. It's sound attractive, right?

With these earnings, I can use it as my extra income, pay my bills and so on, or even donate it to some charity. You don't need to always keep it to yourself.

Thank you for my friend and payperpost for giving me this opportunity. This is the website that I strongly recommend to you and hope that you can enjoy it too!

Crazy Blogger

Recently one of my blogger friend has gone crazy for blogging, the blog almost updated everyday -- not only update with one blog, sometimes with > 10 blogs!! Really crazy......

Blogging for me, is just another way of writing your diary. The difference is, you won't share your diaries with the public, but blogs will. And you won't really write anything really private or secret in your blog, but your diaries will have all your stories, your privacy, your secret and everything.... However, many people write blogs, but not all of us have our own diary.

My life is just too simple to write my experience in my blog, I don't even take a flight in my life, never been more than 4 states in Malaysia (Perak, Sembilan, Melaka, Selangor.... no more, passed by doesn't count.), do not have night life, seldom hang out with friends..... my life actually is quite simple, boring and dull.

Although I'm quite enjoying my life right now (nothing much to complain isn't it?), but still I'm thinking of making a change in the coming year. Maybe flying to somewhere far from my place or having a jungle tracking... sound exciting huh? hahaha... then I shall have more topics and contents for my blogs.

3rd month of Boy Boy

Our BoyBoy is 3-month old now.

He's grown up, not as 'tiny' as when he was born. He also become more active and lively, know a bit how to interact with people. He will turn his head and eyes towards the direction where the interesting sound or voice comes from. He loves to coo and gurgle like he's trying to 'talk' to somebody. He will startle when he hears loud or disturbing noise, even if the sound of a motorbyte, or just open a door. Besides, he likes to play with his fingers too.

He cries very frequent now, and showing unpeacefulness all the time. He likes staring vacantly with nervous face..... it makes him cries more often sometimes just because of a single noise or a sudden touch on him. And this is also how he passed his 3-month birthday.

But as checked from the web, all these things seem to be normal. This is how a 3-month baby will act. My parents are getting very tired, even exhausted when taking care of the little fella at night. Hopefully the thing will get better soon.

Happy 3-month birthday, Boy Boy!

We got a mandarin agent finally....

Is it really so difficult to find a good mandarin speaker who is willing to work in a call center in Malaysia?

After more than 6 months searching, finally we got one new mandarin agent to fill up the vacancy.

Maybe it's hard to believe, we have about 25%-30% Chinese of the total population. But still not easy to find somebody who can speak Mandarin well, even they can speak well, they are not necessary will apply this job, even they will apply a customer service job, they won't apply to this company. That's why we did have a hard time to get somebody who can fit in.

Many Malaysian Chinese now more emphasize on English education, you can see so many Chinese here are not good in Chinese, some don't even recognize a single Chinese character. There are lesser Chinese family will send their children to Chinese secondary school, for most of the parents, six years of Chinese education is more than enough for their children, as long as they can speak and read. Some don't even think it's important at all. Maybe in the future, it's harder to get a good Mandarin speaker in our country.

I don't know how long this guy will stay, maybe this is not his ideal job for his career growth. In the opposite way, we also don't know if this guy can work well with the team, everything is still too early to say. But at least, we don't need to wait any longer.

Facebook...

Recently found a website, the facebook.com has so many funny and interesting games, gifts, fun wall, growing gift and more, unlike other group-playing website, this one has more variety and most of their applications, and beautifully designed in attractive graphics.

You can invite as many friends as you like, once you've built your network, you can start to communicate with them by sending them a gifts, glittering pictures, sketch a picture for them, keep a pet, draw at their Fun Wall, or playing games with them. You can choose many variety of gifts, from growing plants, chocolates, bakery food, free or paid gifts, and so on. The games, which is not a real-time game, you and your friends do not need to be online at the same time to play the game, for example, the pirate game.......

I'm still exploring the website and now 'digging' more funny stuffs from it. If you are interested, you can also join me and share your experience with me.

English

I never thought that, I'll take a job that need to use English everyday. I have been using Chinese a lot: sub-editor, secretary...... but I never so confident about my English that I could be able to speak and write. However, it's what I'm doing now -- application support in English (and Mandarin).

Whenever I write or speak in English, it always remind me of my secondary school's English teacher. She is a good teacher, kind-hearted and patient, especially to us. I always admire her because she speaks well and standard English, although it didn't really help me to improve my English..... I feel a bit regret now when I really need to use it a lot, I should have taken it seriously enough during that time, then at least I would be able to discuss about the weather with my user. (It was once I stuttered when user asked me about the weather in Malaysia.... I couldn't find another word to describe it other than "hot", "good".... =.=")

I still can remember the grammers that she had taught us: verbs, past participle, gerunds, objectives, etc. I had put on so much effort to organize my notebooks during her class, but unfortunately it has been lost by one of my friend (and this really makes me feel so regret, I shouldn't have borrowed my precious to him.... ><), which I still take it as one of my treasure although it's not with me now.

Now I'm trying my best to learn all the "chicken sausage" (as what Chinese says...) at least to get more comfortable on my daily and casual conversation. Experts say, it doesn't matter how much you have learnt, the most important is how much you keep.

Thank you Ms. Tok, for being such a good English teacher to me. Although I'm definitely not her best student, but she is still my best teacher. And what I've learnt from you, really be a great value to me in my life.

Counting fingers...

The baby has so many gestures since his was born, he likes to squirm, stretch, kick, rock...... anything whether you can imagine or not. Now he has learnt to move his fingers.

He likes to count his fingers now, one little two little three little indians...... of course he doesn't know how to sing, but he likes to play with his fingers, sometimes cross fingers, clench his fist and hit to the air, stretch out his two fists to the air like he's riding on a motorbike.....

We like to see him moving his hands and fingers and he also likes watching us moving our hands and fingers in front of him. He is so excited when we playing with him.

Now he can "count" one, three, four, can point out his last 2 fingers with the others folded, can "give me 5", but still cannot "count" 2 or do a "V"-sign. We are still trying to teach him that... hopefully he could do it soon.... ^^

Farewell

Just got a SMS from a friend, they are going to have a farewell dinner for one of our ex-instructor, Sai Kit. He used to teach Body Combat, but now has dropped the class because he'll be leaving to overseas for work. But I couldn't join because of the time and transportation problem.

Although I'm not actually so closed with them, I truly hope that I could join them. Because of my friend, a person who is always low profile like me still have a chance to get along with them. I used to join his class a lot, but now since he's left, even the Combat class has been replaced.

There is another instructor will be leaving the club soon. The people I know is going to leave one after another, and new guys/gals will be coming in. It's hard for you to see the person you know is leaving, but at the same time, I'm also expecting those newbies to come, hopefully they won't disappoint me.

Another farewell is going on for the Japanese lady in our team previously, she'll be going back to Japan soon. After working with her for almost 2 years, we actually had some good times together.

Wishing that everyone can find their better future in other places, and everthing the best in their life.

Finally failed...

Finally I've failed to keep my record here. I have been keeping it for a few months, but unfortunately, I still have to break it.

I didn't do it in purpose actually, I always thought that I could make it on time. But today, it wasn't unpredictable, it's just to hard to leave the table.

I used to take my lunch alone, no matter where I go, I seldom have company. But recently I got somebody who always have lunch together during the same period of time, has welcomed me to join their group. I like to listen to what they're chatting about, the story or experience they are sharing, and sometimes share my opinions too.

Getting lunch buddies is quite hard for me esp. in my team, because almost everyone take different lunch time. I have got used to it but still love to have companion sometimes.

I was late when returned back to my desk, but it's not just because of the 'lunch chat', it was also due to my 'over-confidence' that I thought I could get back on time, but anyway, it's failed.

Although I couldn't avoid to feel a bit sad when I failed to hit it, I try to make it a "with-no-regret" thing. I've expected it a few minutes before the time was up, but I still stayed there without moving, so I shouldn't feel bad as it's what I deserved.

Rain....

It's rainy season again. Raining almost everyday, sometimes morning, noon, or at night. I love the rain actually, but I have to be staying indoor, because stepping on the wet glass actually is really uncomfortable.

It's getting dark, raining again. Part of my clothes is wet, furthermore I'm in a chilly air-conditioned vechicle, it made me felt shivering.

The bus service here is getting worse. It used to come every 15 minutes, as they published. But later, it became 30 mins. Now even hours you need to stay in the station without a sight of the bus. If I drove, it only takes me 20~30 mins home; but if I took bus, I would spend more than 2 hours not even near to my house. I left the office before sunset, and reached home after dark. If you told me, the public transportation service has improved, I would ask you to try it youself.

My Garden

Can you name these plants in my garden?

Finally.....

Finally, I've finished my presentation today. I felt myself shivering not only because of the nervousness, but also due to the freezing environment around.

I'm not sure whether it is an advantage for me to speak in a conf call, good thing is I don't need to face the audience, but at the same time, I also cannot see their response. Luckily all the audience are just within my team, I don't need to face to any 'vip' or 'stranger'. Yet I am still not satisfy with my performance.

This reminds me of my best presentation performance in my college. I still remember the topic, the audience and the scene. We have prepared for so long, actually especially for those who are not regular with English speaking people like me, presenting (not just reading) in English is quite a big challenge to me. But with well preparation, I finally could make it with quite high marks. That was the one and only best presentation I can do so far.

Now one challege is over. And then more challenge is coming to me in the future. I'm quite afraid that I can't do it well enough. I'll just try my best for what I can do. Gambateh~!

A New Challenge

Recently I am assigned a new responsibility. I can say it's a new challenge to me. I'm not sure if I could handle it well, but I'll try my best to catch up everything. I always wonder, how far I can reach with my ability. It's just a step forward, maybe there are more challenge come towards me in the future.

But now... with the environment full of holiday mood.... it's really hard for me to pull myself together, concentrate on those ABC things. Believe me, I'm really trying... but I'm really sleepy too...zzzzzz

Selamat Hari Raya

This year's Hari Raya, except the crowded ramadhan bazaar you can see along the road, it seems lesser Raya mood than past years.

The streets, especially city center like Petaling Street, which used to be very empty during Raya and CNY, now is 'flooded' by foreign people. The city is no longer 'lonely' anymore.

No matter how many raya songs we have heard on TV, radio or shopping centers, it's more commercial than festival. What is going wrong with these?

During the 2-day holiday, as usual, I'm with my family. Since the baby is not here (his parents have brought him home for holidays), we were able to hang out. So normally we just spent our time in the shopping center during Raya, first day at Jusco, second day at Tesco (also 'co'... =.="). For most of the people, it's quite boring if you hang out in these kind of place during holiday. But for me, it's quite a precious family gathering time.

Especially while the little fella is not around, we could go out and buy a cake for my bro's birthday. We don't have grant celebration on our birthdays, but in my family, every member will have a cake on their birthday. It's become a habit, or you can say, it's kind of family tie.

I still have to work even though it's a replacement holiday for Raya on Monday. But of course, not as busy as normal days. I can be more relax. The air is a bit freezing around me... I'm looking forward to go back home and meet my baby nephew who will be back today.

Travel

My friend just back from a overseas trip. We had a lunch together today, and I was so concentrate, listening to his travel stories. Where they have been visited, what he had seen.

I have some friends like to travel so much, every year they will go on a trip for at least once. A few weeks ago, one of my friend just finished his 23-days backpacking trip in China. I was full of admiration when I listened to his travel exprience, how he walked for hours from one village to another. It wasn't easy at all, but at least, he enjoyed througout the journey.

I'm still looking for a chance, or better to say, the best timing, at least I have to take a flight to somewhere, anywhere. What's my destination? I will let you know when I have decided. :)

Clouds

Have you ever noticed about the scenery above you while you are walking under the sky?

I take public transports almost everyday to travel around, so I have much time to walk outdoor. Waiting for the bus in the station is quite boring, so if I'm not in a trance or thinking about nonsense I'll observe around, include looking at the sky.

I like to see the transformation of the cloud, especially when it turns into a special form, it will bring you a lot of imagination. When I was young, I used to believe that there is another world over the sky, where all the fairies and angels are there.

Having a fantasy in your mind is just like a joy in your life, especially if you were in a rather dull working environment. That's why I'm named "Fun". Whenever you are, whatever you are doing, just have fun and you will find the way to live happier.

Workout

I attended the class again. Although it's very tiring, I still try my best to attend the class every weekend, and this is what I can do at the moment.

The combat class in KLCC has been changed, since their previous instructor has dropped. Now SPK will be my new place for combat. The attendees for the class had inscreased, maybe some of them were from the KLCC club. I like the atmosphere, where everybody is enjoying themselves in the class, following the music and the beat, moving and working hard. That's why I like to be in here, although without any companion.

I have some friends joining the instructor training course, some of them has passed almost all the tests. I don't always meet them in the class because sometimes we are going to different clubs. I used to have a friend joining classes with me, but all left me alone. Although joining the class alone is somehow lonely, but I still have the passion and the perseverance to keep it on, haven't thought of quitting yet.

That day, I had a chance to have a small talk with our instructor. He advised me to join the pump class, although I still think it's quite heavy to me, maybe I'll have a try someday.

Go online again!

After so many months (I think almost a year!) unable to online at home, finally the internet access is setup again in my home pc.

The first thing I did online, is to guide my dad how to check his client's info and their policy details from the web, because he has been asking me to do so for long. And then the second thing.... hehe of course is to update my blog.

The line is still slow. But it's just enough for me to update my blogs... hopefully I'll have more 'stories' to tell.

My Best Friend's Wedding

It's been so long since the rumour has spread that, they are going to get married. But until now, it's still a hearsay.

We have been discussing about this topic for so long. The story is a bit complicated, it is much different from what we usually experience. Many people cannot understand the situation and thought that the story is going "underground", but actually, it's not as simple as what they think of, and it's hard to explain.

I don't know how I became her 'manager' or 'spokesperson', she threw the 'ball' to me when others asking her about that. Sometimes you don't really need to be so serious to explain the real situation to them, because it may not what they want to hear, and even we don't know how it actually goes on.

Nevertheless, I'm still her great supporter and will have my best blessing. Whatever step she takes, hopefully it could bring her the better future.

Who wants to be an agent?

I wonder if it's really so hard to find a person that is really willing to be and fitted as a customer service with mandarin speaking skill?

It might not be the candidate problem, maybe our manager also has set high requirements, not only to their mandarin speaking, also in other aspects.

Many has believed that, people are always looking for the best job, it's just the same as jobs are also always looking for the best people. That's why not many people can get what they wish to be.

If you are good in communication skills (otherwise can be trained also), and have basic IT skills (it's better if more than just "basic"), can speak in English well (of course if you can speak Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc... it would be an advantage.), comfortable to be a helpdesk agent (chances to be promoted if you have good performance), and can work under pressure and time-constraint (need to be tough enough to deal with difficult and demanding customers), I don't mind that you may send in your application. :P

New opportunities

When I was given a ride to the station by my colleague, we were having 'serious' discussion in the car, including job and career.

My team is, somehow getting demotivated with our work. It reminds me that how joyful we were when we first joined the team, hanging around with our teammates, having dinners and gathering with our trainers and manager...... We used to have a great time until we really go on live, it seems everything has changed.

People start to leave, we started to have conflicts and disagreements, even management also took attention on us. Undeniably, it's frustrated and disappointed. All the good things seems like have gone in just a glance.

However, I never hate my job or thought of leaving. I used to be tough in my previous experience after all. (Some said that...) It's not easy to find a job that is 100% suit you, you have to cope with the environment, and find the best way to fit in. With my previous experience, I have learnt to adjust myself to 'survive' in any situation.

However, I'm still not giving up yet. I still have a hope, a hope to really get myself the environment that I can really be comfortable, enjoy, and best fit to me. Opportunities are always there, it's just depends on how do you want to 'grab' it...
