Woo Pin Fish Head Meehoon

There are lots of people in this restaurant, people are filling this place, more others are standing to wait for their turn to enjoy the food. It's amazing, but too bad I didn't bring along my camera, couldn't take much photos with my lousy mobile phone.

It's located in Taman Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur. If you drive along KL-Seremban highway, from the Seremban direction, enter to the junction right after Desa Water Park. Location Map.

This is the traditional one.

This is the noodle without milk.

It's not expensive actually, if you consider the portion and the ingredients they put.

What a........

When I came back to my desk, I suddenly found out my PC was off.

WHAT????

Probably was the clean lady who rubbed my table had pulled out the plug accidentally and she didn't notice... luckily I had nothing important was working on, otherwise how am I going to claim that from?

When I first found out my plug has been pulled out, I was so angry and wanted to ask the clean lady what has she done to it. But then when I think again, nothing has lost with it, all I need to do was just restart my pc. She doesn't earn much for this cleaning job (from the Edisi Siasat Mandarin I watched yesterday... haha!), then I managed to cool myself down.

I did ask her, but she claimed that she didn't do anything. I'm fine with it, maybe she didn't notice it too. But from this I've learnt not to leave my desk when she's around, who knows next time what will she do on my desk?

10pm in the office

This is the third night of the week, that I have to stay in the office until my dearest Daddy come and pick me up.

My shift finish until 8pm for this week, Dad say it's very dangerous for me to take bus so late at night, so he decided to pick me up at the office. Usually he'll come with my mum and little fella (my nephew) at around 8pm. Unless he's having other appointments.

Unfortunately, he had night meetings and dinner 3 nights this week, so no choice, I have to wait for him after his dinner or meeting. The worst thing is, I have to worry about my dinner...

Because Cyberjaya is really not a convenient place to get food, usually I'll buy my dinner during lunch, and heat it up in the microwave after work. But this week I already had instant noodle twice.

This is the my first dinner.

I know it's time for me to get my own transport. Many friends have advised me all the time, some even fed-up already. It's not that easy for me because I have other expenses... but believe me, I'm sure I'll get one by this year.

I swear.

誕生日おめでとう

We haven't been celebrating team's birthday for so long, maybe it's because everybody were just busy, or there was quite a lot of changes happened among the team and we were busy on other things.

Anyhow, because of our "Big Brother" birthday, we have a chance to do "birthday celebration" for the team again. Nothing special, just everybody eat cakes together, taking pictures, and laughing, making noise...... :P But I really enjoyed being together like this, it makes me feel like we are a big family.

This is our 'artwork', we drew it together. Does it look nice? hahaha!

These cupcakes made specially for our 'big brother' (or BOSS), Adrian.

Wish for a family vacation

A few years ago, my brother and I used to have an agreement that, we will pay for our Family Vacation to Hong Kong or other country, but this plan was canceled after my nephew was born, and the worst thing is we don’t know when this dream will come true again.

Taking care of our little baby nephew no doubt has brought us a lot of laughter and happiness, but also it takes away our freedom especially my parents, they are spending almost 7 days a week to take care of him. I just wish that since he’s growing up, my sis can take more responsibility on him so that we can bring our parents to a vacation as soon as possible.

Missing new thumb drive

It was a sudden call from my sis, she has lost my thumb drive in the office. She plugged it in the CPU and went away, when she realized and went back, the thing was no longer there. She asked the pc owner but end up with an impatient and negative response.

Everybody knows that you shouldn't plug your thumb drive in the CPU when you are not around, especially in the open area where many people could pass by. I told sis, if somebody really has taken it, they won't even admit that they saw it, don't mention return it back to you.

Sometimes I also did that but luckily, all the people in our office are fully 'high-educated', and maybe 'high-paid' enough that won't even want to take my RM49 thumb drive.

But it's lost now and it has all the boy boy's photos inside. Who knows the person who took it will do anything to the photos? Sis, you really being so careless lah!

Busy blogging again

Currently, since the BGT, PPP are back to active again, I begin to update my blogs more frequently. The thing is, my life really is so simple that I can hardly find a thing to update.

Anyhow, I'll start finding something special everyday. Like what people say, precious every moment in your life to keep youself spirit up.

Regarding the mini budget that has just announced yesterday, the headline today in Sinchew, is about the RM5,000 discount when old car traded in for new Proton. But the truth is, even the 16-year-old Proton Saga in my house still cost at least RM7K. RM5K really is not enough for us to buy a new one. Why they don't just give us discount as long as we are buying local cars?

Naughty boy

Currently my little nephew is very naughty. Since he starts walking in these few months, he likes to go everywhere, and throws things whenever he goes. We have to be always busy cleaning up his mess on the floor, but still, we can’t keep the floor cleaned up all the time. My mum was nearly tripped over his toy few days ago, luckily it’s merely a flesh wound on the knee. I think it is time for us to prepare a wound care kit in the house, not only for the naughty boy, but also, I think it's very useful for the adults too. Ha-ha!

Save Energy

I can't say I'm the one who really care about the environment, but I'm the one who always off the pantry light when it's daytime, and off the light above my desk and other places where nobody is sitting there, and furthermore, I will switch off my pc before I go home. No matter How Much Electricity Does a light or a computer use, if we can save it for one minute, it will means a lot for the earth. I'm planning to join the Earth Hour 2009 in March, will you join it too?

Gathering

These are my 'lunch buddies', international friends, because got Japanese and Korean.

We were having Sunday lunch at MinYoung's house, she prepared Korean style 'spring roll', and Tomomi made us the Japanese style cold noodles. My biggest contribution were bringing some snacks and bought sugars from the store... haha!

The food were all cold (most Chinese prefer hot food... haha), but the taste is not bad.

We didn't have enough preparation for this lunch, because Young thought that the gathering was canceled. Next time, if we had chance to make it again, I think we might have a 'international feast'!

Drove alone all the way from 1U

I believe this is the longest distance I've driven alone. All the way from 1 Utama until my house.

I forgot to check what time I reached home, but it might take about an hour.

It was quite a 'scary' experience for me, because I never drove that far alone before, not even with somebody next to me.

When I agreed with their suggestion, I had once regretted. But it's a very precious chance for me to have such experience, if I don't try it, I'll never be able to do so.

The braver thing I did, is I drove the rightmost lane. Actually I was so scared and quite desperate to reach home at the soonest. You know in Malaysia, left lane is for those drive slower and speed limit, the middle lane is for those who drive average within speed limit, the right lane, which is the fast lane, is for those who drive faster than speed limit, much much faster. That's why I called myself 'brave'... (scary...) My palms were sweaty along the way, and luckily, I managed to make everything in control, and nobody else tends to "bully" me... haha!

Happily, I returned home safely. Yeah~~!!

Rare Coins

Many people have the hobby of collecting something, from cards, stamps, to coins. Coins are popular because they maintain their values even for many decades. And also, they are easy to keep, deliver and transfer. Some people will do coins investment that would be a good way to make money.

If you like coins, you must consider a more trustworthy place to keep it. For example, Monex Deposit Company, their experience in precious metals for more than 40 years have gained trust from their customers all over the country. They have special representative to provide the best service to their customers, including giving them latest update and information.

Lost my link

I didn't realized that my blog feed has lost after I've changed my blogname, until one of my ex-coursemate cum blogger buddy told me so. No wonder recently my visitor count has become lesser.

If not because of the crazy fella, I wouldn't have changed my blog name. Just now I tried to do some search in the blogger help file, then found that actually it's not simple. Even if you can just simply change your blogname from your Blogger -> Settings. If wouldn't change your site feed. My friend tried to add my blog URL to he My BlogList widget, and found that no matter how many times she tried to delete and add again, it'll still showing my old URL, old blog title and old blog page. ><

Still looking for the resolution, if there's not much impact, I'll just leave it. Otherwise... maybe will take a risk to change back to my original URL......

Limited Edition in Old Town

I forgot what they call this. I ordered when I visited the Old Town during CNY.

I'm not a fan of Old Town, definitely. But it's the only restaurant nearest to my office, and their food is very expensive, the thing is, the other 2 next to it are more expensive, moreover, their serving time is the shortest. That's why I'm a regular customer here.

About this drink, taste quite unique. Not cheap, for sure. Just a can of Ice-cream Soda, one scope of ice-cream, and some don't-know-what thing at the bottom of the cup. Ice-cream Soda is not my type of soft drink, but I used to drink a lot when my father still worked as a salesman in this company. The taste has somehow revoked some of my childhood memories...

Wedding Flowers

This year maybe another popular wedding season especially for the Chinese, because in Chinese, number nine has the same pronunciation with the words long lasting. If you are planning for a wedding ceremony, it’s warm and romantic to decorate with a lot of wedding flowers in the hall, or any other scene.

There are many different kinds of beautiful flowers for you to choose, but make sure they are fresh and will last longer, at least the whole day. You have to prepare the flower for bridal bouquets, centerpieces, and wedding arrangements, and therefore, selecting a suitable florist also is very important. Make sure their flowers are directly from the flower farm, and guarantee the delivery time, and you will have a most unforgettable wedding time.

Sleepy mornings... zzz

Very sleepy now. I slept at around 12am and woke up 4:50am in the morning. Now not only feel sleepy, also a bit dizzy.

We still haven't found newbie to our team, so I still have to rotate the shift with the other teammates.

Some friends feel 'surprised' seeing my online at 6am in the morning, maybe most of the people prefer doing overtime till night, than start work so early in the morning?

I don't know how long this situation will continue, and actually my parents suffer the most, because of their daughter's unstable working hours.

I wish we could have a new guy (or gal) asap, or else... a new oppty for me can also be a good idea... hehe

Beauty products for moms-to-be

When my sister was pregnant, she was having a quite serious skin problem. She had to deal with acne and dark blotches on the skin. However, I have heard that some of the others have more serious skin problems. The skin problems for pregnant women are usually caused by hormone changes.

Some elders or experts advise that, pregnant women are not supposed to have facial treatment in beauty saloon. I forgot what the reason is but it is possibly because of the machine and chemicals they use, or the environment is not good for the fetus. Therefore, the best way is to have your skincare at home.

There are many different brands and types of beauty and skincare products available in the market, you have to make your selection carefully. Make sure the products are safe to the mother and fetus. Some products with chemical substances actually are not good for health, especially for those who are pregnant because they need extra care.

We will recommend you find some tips from the celebrities, for example Beaute de Maman which is commonly used by some of the famous mothers in Hollywood, for example actor Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen and Chyler Leigh. This is a product specially developed to treat pregnant women’s skins, and does not have any harmful effect. It is a recognized and certified product which can be used safely, without any hazardous substance it treats the skin perfectly.

For the moms-to-be, if they cannot find other better ways or better products for their skin, they can try to order now and have a great facial treatment even during their pregnancy.

My nephew in 19 months

I took this photo when he finally learnt how to hold the milk botol by himself. I can't say he's a slow learner, but it might because he has used his talent to other things, like how to open the drawer, how to play with the boxes, padlocks and fans......

He can walk very well now, but this has caused us into trouble because we have to chase after him around the house, especially those 'restricted areas' to him, like kitchen.

He still only can pronounce a few words, without any precise meaning. For example, he'll call my sis and mum 'Mama' together, but sometimes also calls my mum 'Ah Bo', 'Ah Ber', 'Ah Bah'... whichever he likes. But to me, I'm still his 'ah ber'... (sweat)

He's quite tall, many people say so. His last measurement was 78cm 2 weeks ago. Maybe he's taller than some other toddlers, but not really that tall. Although he doesn't really take solid food, he weighs ~10+ kg, still normal. (Can you imagine when we carry him, we are like carrying a bag of rice?)

Milk is still his main food everyday, and because of that, he has to drink quite frequently, approximately 3~4 hours once, 160ml per feeding. These 2 days he starts to take some rice, with some vege. But he can't eat much, else he will throw up.

He's getting naughty now, no longer can stay in the car seat quietly when my Dad drove out with him, and always shout and squeal. We are still trying how to calm him down.

Farewell

Finally, I decided not to turn up.

I precious every moment with my friends and colleagues, but the thing is, it's really too far away, and taking a cab really not worth it. I don't even know from which part I have to take the cab from, it can't be from my house......

The 'pioneer' members of the CRM team have become lesser and lesser. I'm not sure who will be the next to go, but we can't be here forever, I believe. Anyhow, I hope that everyone can have a great future, including myself.
