Hellboy II: The Golden Army

I watched this movie by chance. Actually it's just because our complimentary passes were going to be expired, then among all the available options, I chose this.

Of course my parents wouldn't agree with my selection, as they found that they couldn't understand the story, what they saw was just a bunch of freaks and monsters wandering and fighting around the city. :D

For me, these 'monsterous creatures' somehow had made me feel a bit uncomfortable with their freaky outlook. However, in terms of the story, it still quite interesing, although it's not in the top 10 ranking for my favourites.

For me, the most impressive scene, is when the Hellboy fought with the Forest God in the city. Although it's released by Prince Nuada, but this giant creature seems not an evil, especially after he was killed by Hellboy, plants grew on its body, the scene was just so fascinating.

Another scene that I like, is Hellboy and Abe drank in Abe's room. I like it when they sang the song "Can't smile without you". After the movie, the only thing I can remember is to find this song from the web. Listen to it, you may like it too.

Crazy.......

Accessing GPP at 11pm...... I think I'm crazy.
But since I was 'announced' as the backup SME last year, it has been a great pressure to me.
So many question marks keep popping up from my mind....

What is 'back up'?
Why there are never a 'back up' for others, only for me?
Does it mean I'm incapable?
Does it mean I'm worse than others?
Does it mean their jobs are easier?
Does it mean others are better than I am?
Why didn't they see my efforts?
Why I'm so detailed about my work? What for?
Why my mistakes are always magnified but not my effort?
Why no matter how much works I've put in my job, it seems doesn't mean anything to them?
What do they want? What do they need?
It has been about a year for a so-called 'back up' name on me? What's next?
What am I?

The more I worry, the more mistake I've made.
And it ends up, just to prove to the management, I'm still not capable to be 'upgraded' from the 'backup' yet. The more bad impression of me for them. Then, ultimately I'll become the 'backup' forever? or they'll even remove the 'backup' from me?

It's frustrated to keep a 'backup' for a year. Others just wouldn't understand why.
I think if I can't change the situation, the last step I'll take is giving up.
Give up everything I have.
Give up all my efforts.
Give up what I'm expecting.

But, as what I said, it's the 'last step'.
I won't take the step if there's still hope.
But, am I really that weak?

Big BANG~!

The little boy boy was sitting on the floor, playing with his 'masak'.... but suddenly there was a big "BANG", then only we realized that his little head has banged on the floor!

Followed by the big bang, before hearing the loud cry from the little one, was my sis's and mum's big shout. And later, I'm the one who got the blame, because at that time I was just sitting next to him. (but his father -- my brother-in-law also sitting nearby what....)

This little fella, going to be one year old already, but still unable to sit still. When he sits he tends to lean aside or moving around. It was my fault because actually I think I had touched him at the back made him fell. It's quite scary because I'm not sure if his little head can bear such a big bang.

Sis said, if tomorrow we found any unusual thing on him, we should take him to the pediatrics for further checking.

Long time ago, when I was just started to work, I had once thinking about further my studies. Either taking short courses or continue for a Master degree. However, due to financial problem and also the matter of time, I’ve given up the idea.

If I have found some online colleges for a lower cost distance learning course, maybe I shouldn’t have given up my thinking of upgrading myself. Although it sounds tough by self-learning, there are many experts and educators will help you on you studies, and with the sufficient learning materials and resources, you shall not be worried about starting your further studies anymore.

Lunch buddies

I used to be alone during lunch time, because no matter what time I'm on lunch, there will not be anyone in my team will have the same lunch time as mine, so I was always alone when I went lunch.

However, for me, lunch time can also be another place for you to get to know new friends. When I was still in the old office, I had a group of "lunch buddies", because we only met each others during lunch. After moving to the new office, some of my lunch buddies had left the company, but I'll not be alone still. I have gathered with another group of lunch buddies.

Having lunch alone somehow is quite lonely, when my lunch buddies ask me why my teammates always not having the same lunch time as mine. I really don't know how to answer. Schedule maybe? "Personal preferences" maybe? But who cares? I still have them to have lunch with me. It has to be my precious moment during my working days.

If you asked me about the taste, hmmm.... I'll say it's a bit strange about the taste.
It's not really that bad, but I just not get used to it.

Getting a beauty job

I believe that, most of the ladies are caring about their look. The only difference is the way they choose to take care of their skin and beauty. Some will just buy products from stores, but for some of them will go to the beauty care centre, seek help from the beauty experts.

That’s why beauty jobs are really popular and will not be really affected by the economical status. If you are really interested in this job, you should go to beauty school and get a professional certificate. Internet addicted

I admit that definitely I'm an internet-addicted... some kind of. I've spent more than half of my days in front of the computer, especially working days, after work when I'm at home during night time, I still can't stop being with my "square boxes" again.

It's not a good habit, for sure. I just can't control it, especially I'm now always need to wait for my new opptys released in the PPP or BGT. you can't always get new opptys, it's depends on your luck, and of course, how frequent you check the website, that's why I need to online.

But it's also an excuse, because when I'm in the internet, the most thing I do is playing games and facebook. This bad habit of internet addiction, or to be more exact is games addiction, has somehow affected my daily routine and health. I should start to keep away from the computer and start to pick up new hobbies. Photographing maybe can be a good one?

The Working Poor

A few weeks ago, I read a special topic in a local newspaper, nowadays in our society we have a new group of people, which are named, "the working poor".

According to the definition from Wikipedia, "Working poor is a term used to describe individuals and families who maintain regular employment but remain in relative poverty due to low levels of pay and dependent expenses. The working poor are often distinguished from paupers, poor who are supported by government aid or charity."

In general, this people has a regular job and stable income, however, due to their monthly high expenses, they are kind of living as a poor. It's even worse than those who spend all their salary every month.

Frankly speaking, it's quite pity if you are living as a "working poor", because the thing is, it doesn't matter how much you earn, it's regarding how much you keep for yourself.

Luckily I'm still not living in this category, but the truth is, my monthly expenses really has become my biggest burden in my living. I'm still looking for an opportunity to change my living style or increasing my income, at least it can keep me from being a "working poor" in the future.

The Baby's first lunar birthday

Time really flies, before we can realize it's already almost a year since my little nephew has joined our family. And now he's celebrating his first ever lunar birthday in his life~!

When think back the past year, it's really full of laughters and hardness. It's really not easy to take care of a premie, esp. a very naughty premie. We were having a tough time, even got depressed and exhausted when we need to take care of him a whole day, and even need to comfort him during night time, it was really no rest at all! Especially my mum that has been spending most of her precious time on this little fella. Almost the whole family come together to take care of him.

And his lovely mum and dad? Just spend their easy time staying at home, visiting him once or twice in a week, and that's all. Even I have spent much time than my sis. When we bring him out, most of the people thought that I'm his mum, especially when sometimes, incredibly, I know his characters and habits more than his mum.



Even though little Boy Boy has brought us much tough times, he has also, in another hand, brought us laughter and happiness to our house. He's not really a cranky baby, and sometimes he's quite lovely and understanding too. He's definitely a smart kid, we believe that, he must be very outstanding when he grows up.

We bought KFC and ordered a Mickey birthday cake for him (of course it's paid by his lovely mum). Actually it's quite weird as none of these food is for the baby... haha!

Candies around the world

One of the good thing to have foreigners as your colleagues, is that whenever they went back to hometown, they will always bring back a lot of local food especially cookies, candies and some souvenirs only found in their countries.

But in this picture, there is one of them is given by my colleague that travelled to the country and bought back as a gift for us, that means, not from her 'home country'. Can you tell which one is it?

Our company got a team called Fun Committee, where they always organize some events throughout the year, for example, the Futsal tournament which was held at the beginning of this month.

I myself didn't really participate in the event, but I did receive some from my peers and manager. Nice decorations

It's inside a satay restaurant in Kajang. What it attacted me was that, they put all the musical instruments on a tree (not sure it's originally a real tree or not) as a decoration. RCC Futsal Tournament - Silver metal~!

Can you expect that? I never play football before, and now our team got silver metal. (YEAH~~!)
Of course I'm definitely not the one who should take the credit, I didn't contribute much to the team actually. Frankly speaking, I'm just like a substitute, because all other team players are much better than I am.
It's a good experience for me after all. At least I know what is "Futsal" and how to play, and in the future I shall learn the proper posture and way of kicking, so that I would hurt my thigh anymore.

Yes, I'm working in a call center that should be in silence all time so that you won't disturb others.

Yes, we always wonder why this guy still can continue his 'performance' everyday, showing how close he is with the customers and support team, everyday talk loud loud like afraid nobody can hear him clearly.

Yes, I believe one day if we really cannot 'tahan' (bear) then somebody among us may send them a complain letter, because this fella really disturbing others.

But so far, it seems nobody is taking any action, or there is any 'story' behind that is unknown by us? or maybe he got something that even his manager or team lead is afraid of him? If his OM and TL is not stupid that they should know that he's a big disturbing fella.

OK, I'll tolerate now and be patient. Time will only tell what will be happen to him in the future.

Miracle '08

This is the second time I joined the Miracle from Fitness First, but it's the first time I'm on my own all the time, because there wasn't anyone that knew me or I knew that could be with me. Just like sometimes what I am in the situation when I'm in the class. One of my buddy was the volunteered committee, she gotta work that day, so couldn't join the class.

Being in the class outdoor in public, was really a special experience for me. You gotta hold yourself until the end, otherwise you'll be embarrassing yourself among all the people around you. But I realized for being stopped for a long while, my stamina is getting worse, and couldn't really hold me until the end. It's bad, but I still gotta stay strong, tried my hard to follow the steps, but it really hurt, specially my muscles.

I've decided to stop the class for a while. If I really couldn't maintain to be there regularly, rather than paying them every month but not going. But I still don't want to terminate it. I hope that after next month, I can still maintain myself in the place, at least once a week.

Miracle is a charity programme, it raised fund for the children, as well as the China earthquake victims. I've contributed some to the programme. Hopefully next year I can join again, and also hopefully next time, I can find some more 'buddies' to be there with me.

My First Futsal

I'm not a sporty person, although I had been in a volleyball team during in high school and won a trophy before (just because the team participated were too few... :P )... and now joining a fitness club and learning body combat... but it really doesn't mean that I'm sporty.

This is the first time I play futsal, and with just 2 practices I will need to go on the field to match with other team members... =.=" But since it's just for fun and rarely a team activity, that's why all of us are willing to join the game.

My first practice, toe hurt after directly hit the ball, then run until exhausted, too bad. But there is one 'surprise' that, we finally realized that our Japanese girl, who is so soft and gentle in front of us, actually is a good fighter! The captain is about to assign her as defender! Wow~~!!

And we, still a lousy player and just running and missing the ball on the field... hahahahahaha
