Weather change

Currently the weather has changed a lot, maybe because of the effect of global warming. In Malaysia, the weather is rather extreme. It’s shiny and hot in the morning and a sudden downpour and rain storm in the afternoon. The highest temperature can be up to 33ºC and lowest 24 ºC. Many people have fell sick because of this weather, including some of my colleagues and family members.

In US, the weather also differs from state to state. If you prefer cooler place, you may consider Arizona. Many people would have their homes in Scottsdale, a popular tourist and shopping destination. If price doesn’t really matter for you, getting a unit for Eagles Landing Luxury Condos could be one of your options.

Free Cornettos~~!

100,000 Cornettos were given by Wall's today at Berjaya Times Square. I thought I would have missed it because by the time I reached there it's already 4:30pm. But I still managed to grab not one, but two different flavours. So, it's my 'lunch' today. Haha!

I captured some shots about the event with my lousy phone, but still can see the crowds.

My first JP class

Hajimemashite. Watashi-wa Fun desu. Dozo Yoroshiku.

Know what it means?

It was my first JP class, with Nakamura-san, the JP teacher who doesn't really good in English. The whole class, was like what Hongkie says, "chicken talk to ducks". Nobody really understood what she says, but luckily with her body language, and the flash cards, we can still tell what's she wanted to show us.

Actually many people are learning Japanese now, including some of my friends and also my colleagues. I'm considered late to start learning JP at this age, but I just learned it for fun (me!) and for my own interests, of course my ultimate goal is able to communicate with Japanese in Japanese, when can I achieve that?

First class, quite fun. About 15 people in the class. We have one kawaii white boy here, and full of laughters. It's a great start, no doubt about that. I'm expecting the next class now.

Good Luck, Azmi!

Another comrade has left our team. Azmi is one of the first members in this team, we have been working together since the very beginning, and now we have only six the "pioneer" members left in this team.

Nowadays because of the economic crisis, not many people will change their current jobs. But you can consider some part-time jobs such as what abc-exchange.com is offering.

Good Luck, Azmi! Wish for your success and happiness always!

My Nephew in 18 months

My little nephew has turned 18 month officially since Feb 1, 2009. It's 1 1/2 month old~~ can't imagine, time really flies...

Here are some information about his development:

The most important thing, is that he can walk very well now (although still like a 'penguin-walk'), and the adults are more busy to catch up with him, chase after him everywhere. And now he's become more naughty, will throw his tantrum if you don't allow him to play with something or go somewhere. For this we will try to teach him how to listen and be good, otherwise he'll be spoilt.

He still refuses to eat porridge and vegetable, his most favourite solid food is carrot (=.="). So his main food currently is still formula milk, 140ml~160ml per bottle, in every 3, 4 hours, add cereal rice twice per day. Sometimes he'll request for milk in the midnight before he sleeps.

He's still not very good in talking, only can pronounce a few words like "Bah", "Ber", "Boh" and "De", etc. He always call me "Ah Ber" and call my mum as "Ah Boh", call my Dad "Ah Bah". Once in a while he can pronounce "Bao" (Hug), and "Ai-ya".

Recently we found that he's quite cranky and dependent. He throws tantrum when we don't allow him to touch or do something, or go somewhere. We are still trying to teach him to be patient and be a nice boy.

Holodomor and Tragedies

Recently from the world news, we can see that there is a big change of the weather. Snow storm, flood, bushfires, drought is happening all over the world. Maybe it is an effect of the global warming, and it is an alarm for the people, to pay attention on the issue.

The drought in China has caused a wide area of wheat farm is in exsiccation, millions of people are still lack of drinking water. I still remember almost the same time last year, there was a snow storm happened in the same country. The weather has turned to an abnormal state.

Many people may still remember the Soviet famine happened last in around 1932 to 1933. The tragic, which was also known as holodomor, had taken away seven to ten million of lives. Most of the innocent victims come from Soviet Union, and mainly the grain-producing agricultural areas.

Can you imagine when people were in great starve, they could even killed their own children and ate them. It was how serious and extreme the situation was. Hopefully this kind of tragedy will not happen again and it might have taught us a lesson on how to take care of the people.

Something from Mid Valley

I was attending the CNY gathering from my ex-coursemates in college.

We met at Mid Valley, and it happened that when I arrived, there was a lion dance/act in the center court.

Here is the CNY deco for Megamall, their theme colour is red:

While for The Gardens, the theme is pink. I kind of like this decorations.

Stop your bad habit

Are you addicted to alcohol, drug or anything that you know it’s harmful to your? If you are, then you would need to think of a way to get rid of it. There are some professionals who can help the patients to abstain from some bad habits such as alcoholism rehab and drug rehab. This is not for your own good, but also to your family and loved ones.
