Be aware of drugs

I learned the word "Anticonvulsant" when I saw the brand "Topamax", it's a drug used as a treatment for convulsions as in epilepsy. However, if you have used it wrongly it could cause a severe consequence.

There was a serious Topamax lawsuit happened 2 years ago, which was because they encouraged the use of the product for something not listed. Therefore, before you are advised to take any drug, please make sure you have sought advice from the experts and physicians.

Moved.... again

I can't really count how many times I have moved since joining RCC. From old building to new building, from one phase to another, from East Wing to West Wing and East and then back to West again. Later on we will move from 3rd floor to 2nd floor too.

It seems like we will never have a permanent workstation, so I always have 2 boxes underneath my table, so I can just move without wasting time for packing. It's strange but after all these years I've already got used to it. I'm still here, am I?

Sunday @ Cherating

This is my first time going to Cherating.
I have heard of this place before, it's famous in beautiful beaches and sea view.
We were staying in the Legend, actually I was quite disappointed. The sea view is not as beautiful as I thought, and I need to carry my heavy luggage from the car park and walk to the hotel room, the room is quite old somemore.
Anyhow, I like being with the nature, listening to the waves......
I would like to go to seaside again, but not coming back to the same place.

大地的怒吼

我原本有另外一个专写中文的部落格，不过想想有点麻烦，还是写在这里好了。

我是在忙碌中获知日本大地震的消息。当时就已经是一个惊讶，只是因为要和人谈话所以暂时搁下了。

我们一直认为，日本是个先进国，对于经常侵袭他们的灾难，他们早已有防范措施。前两天在电视新闻上看到他们已经遭遇到轻微的震动而开始为防范海啸而作准备的时候，我相信这不过是另外一起他们能够安全度过的难关。

想不到，这一次的震动来得那么地强烈。大地似有灵性，在不同的地方，制造同样的灾害，用不一样的程度。像海地，只需要7点多级就已经把整个地方翻过来，四川要8级才有震憾力，而日本太强，所以这次来个8.9级的。加上海啸，大地不相信这个高强的民族还可以安然无恙。

结果，真如大地所料，宫城县几乎已被席卷为一片荒凉之地。看着那片惊涛骇浪像猛兽一样地冲向陆地的时候，感觉就像重温了一回电影《2012》的惊人场面。很难想像在现场的人是哪一种极度的恐慌。

当天和几位分别在日本和马来西亚的日籍朋友通简讯，还有一个和丈夫女儿一起在日本的老同事，大家都还平安。有些被迫留在办公室内过夜无法回家，在那里，呆在建筑物里头比在外面更安全。

日本地震海啸前几天，云南也发生了地震。这个地球快要住不下去了，真心祈祷希望大家都一定要平平安安！希望灾区的所有人都能够安然度过这一次的灾难。

Another bad news

It was a shock when I heard that another project is going to be closed down. And this team had been with us for almost 5 years. What's going on?

From Japan, to Cyber, now maybe will move to Shanghai. Things change every now and then. I understand that nothing is eternal, but never expect to be so fast.

She has decided to leave. The one who has been staying with us for almost the same period and should be the last one to leave the CRM from our side since the beginning. It makes me feel like something is missing but can't tell what is it. It's sad and helpless because there's nothing we can do.

No matter how, we still have to move on. The team is not the same anymore, people have changed, things have changed, I can't even find any sign of existence for those we had at our time: trust, co-operation, quality, integrity, skills, knowledge, ability...... everything. But since I have decided to leave out, I will.

Wishing for her future success and happiness. I'm not sure if we will still have chance to meet each other again, maybe... it'll be another years of time.

gecko

How many of you really knew that, the creature that cling on the walls in our house is "gecko" instead of "lizard"?

I only know it today. Before this, I really thought that was just a lizard. OK, new information learned.

I know someone is really phobia on gecko, that's why I have this vocabulary. I'm not really a gecko-phobia afterall it's actually called "Ah Bu" in my house (named by Boy Boy).

Good to learn new thing.
