My journey, my dream

Since the influenza A (H1N1) has been raging in the world, it has caused a great impact to the tourism industry. Many people avoid traveling overseas, so the airlines are trying so hard to boost up their business by giving out attractive promotions to their customers.

Actually I was planning to travel overseas this year with my family, but because of this crazy flu phobia, I had to postpone my plan again. And now, I don’t know when I can fulfill my dream of overseas traveling.

How I wish I could have a romantic vacation riviera maya, or culture exploring journey in China, or searching for history in Europe....... when will be my dreams come true?

Finally... transformed...

Finally, I could watch the whole "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", in the same cinema. This time, I went with my parents and brother.

Many critics and viewers gave negative comments about this movie, some said it's too commercial, some said it's far beyond the logic and reality, some said the story line is weak, some said too many characters, etc. But who cares? It's the blockbuster and it dominates all the charts around the world.

Optimus Prime + Bumblebee + Sam + Mikaela + Michael Bay + a lot of transformable robots are still the best combination and success story for the movie world.

Fare increase

Last week, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department announced for the publick transports fare increase. And this week, yesterday, the bus driver was so 'kind' to tell us that, the bus ticketing system will be changed in the coming August.

Now, the bus fare for RapidKL, is one-day ticket, RM1 for Tempatan and RM2 for Utama & Bandar. But starting from this August, there is no more one-day ticket. The ticket fare will depends on different zone. Just like when it was the time of "Intrakota".

I asked the driver, when the official new ticket fares will be announced, he said he didn't know yet. It's already 23rd of July, another one week to go. The bus company still doesn't want to make any announcement. Are they planning to give us a 'surprise'?

Now everything increase, except our pay and allowance. How should we survive?

Safe investment

Recently if you have read the news, there are many cases about the investment scam again. Although we all know that it is hard times for our economy now, maybe that’s the reason why many people are willing to trust such a get-rich-quick scams, vainly hope for getting rich in fastest way.

It is undeniable that, investing is still the fastest way to earn money in shortest time. But the point is, you have to make sure it is safe. Invest in stock options is also one of the way for making money, but it’s better to seek advice from the experts before you make any decision.

Change workstation again

Joce has moved upstairs, Kim will be leaving the team soon. Our workstations are rearranged again.

If not mistaken, this is my 6th change.

I got so many stuffs on my desk (and under my desk as well, haha!), so everytime I move my place, I have to bring along many stuff.

This time, I'm not sure how long it'll last until my next move again.

But hopefully it'll not be the near future.

Blackout @ GSC Pavilion KL

It was around 4:15pm, when we were in the cinema, watching "Transformers II". Only 30 mins of the show, suddenly it was a blackout, the show is gone, the emergency lights were on. Everybody was so shocked, none of us knew what's happening. I even thought that it was some kind of "special effects" from the cinema, we could even expect to see 'Optimus Prime' or 'Megatron' appears from the back......

But 15 mins after the incident, we realized that it's definitely something went wrong. Somebody went out to check, and when they came back, they told us that many people were heading to the exit, the electricity went off, the show was stopped. And it was already 30 mins over.

No shows today, just about I think 1/3 of the 'Transformer 2' I've seen. They promised to give us a refund or change to another time, but just like the lady said, "It's not the matter of money."

My brother and I, went to the first counter, queue up for another 15~20 mins to get our voucher back (we used the complimentary pass). The electricity resumed at around 5:00pm, but our shows have cut. No more Transformers. They stopped selling tickets, but the shows after 5pm were still on.

GSC claimed that it was the electricity problem from Pavilion itself. However, they still promise on our ticket refund and bear the lost and our blame...

We end up returned home with 1/3 of Transformers II. What a DAY! T_T


The electricity went off, everybody went down to the entrance again, it's an uproar from the people. The staffs were trying to cool down the people, and made an announcement.

Sliver

This sliver had been pierced into my skin since yesterday evening, when I was taking a piece of wood from my little nephew. It had gone to my right hand, so it's very inconvenient for me to use my left hand to remove it. That's why I left it in my hand until this afternoon.

Susan is really a good mummy, haha! She prepared all the 'tools' with her, just a needle and a lighter, she use the fire to disinfect the needle, and then started the 'operation', just a minute, the sliver had been removed. Looks like I've asked the correct person for help. Haha!

Thanks Susan! I feel much better now. hehe

Baby's diet

My brother-in-law always afraid that his little son will get overweight, because he had seen some of the “Michelin” babies, their parents thought that baby has to eat more to grow faster. My nephew doesn’t really eat much actually, can you imagine a almost 2 year old toddler, still gulping 160ml of milk (sometimes add some rice cereal) in every 3 hours? One of my friend’s baby girl has already gulped 120ml milk in every 3~4 hours.

Nevertheless, whenever he went to the pediatrics, he is always found healthy and in normal weigh. If he is grown underweight, probably he would need to take duocal to put on some weight for a well-balanced diet.

Hard Decision

Finally, I've decided to change back my blog URL to my initial one.

The reason why I hesitated, basically is because of one fella... but then I found that, after I've changed my URL, it seems that I've also lost my readers... but that's not confirmed, because I don't know how to calculate it and how to obtain the figure.

Anyhow, I found that even if I've changed the URL, the feeder will not change my blog name. So what is the purpose to make all those changes, just because of one fella? It's silly!

I'm not sure when I change back the URL, I'll get back my readers... but I'll try to convince myself, that's nothing to be fear. That fella, just forget about it.

Writing?

He uses both left hand and right hand, but he maybe a left-hander...

1/2 more month, my little nephew will celebrate his 2nd birthday.

He's not really good in language development, but he's really good at imitating people. He'll observe what we do, and do the same by himself. So now he's pressing the remote control, unlock the door or padlock, wiping table, mopping the floor, etc. Of course he can't really do that, he just imitate our actions.

He saw us writing, he also wants to write, so he likes to grab our pen and doodle on the paper. He writes on anything besides paper, table, floor, newspaper, his baby books, our books, even the sofa~~ *faint*

Dad taught him how to hold a pen properly, so he learnt it quite well. Now you see, got style right? Just look like really writing! Haha! The way he holds the pen is better than I do. Well Done, BOY!

Recently......

Recently, office has blocked Facebook due to traffic congested...... not only FB, actually there were many staffs accessing music and video streaming websites.... and it ended up FB also get blocked, because it's the website mostly accessed.... haha!

Can't really get used to life without FB... of course I'm doing my work, but sometimes when you clicked away from your applications and got into FB, can relax a bit for a few minutes, then go back to the 'battle' again.

Recently, we are really short of people. The job change thing has been freezed 'until further notice', that means you gotta wait for your luck. But one of our senior agent will still moving on as planned. That means, I'll be almost 'alone' in my team. Really tired to take so much work...... but what to do?

Recently, wondered why I can no longer access to my Sina blog from home. Why ah? It'll keep loading and loading, maybe one word every 10 or 15 minutes, a few hours passed also not loaded 30%. Maybe I shouldn't have trusted CN website...... >.<" Some of them will not work fine outside of their mainland.

So, it's quite 'sien' to live like this, seems like 诸事不顺..... nothing much is working fine..... another life challenge maybe? haha...... anyhow, I still stay happy everyday. You can't control the things happen around you, but you can control your feeling, your emotion. Nothing can let you down unless you allow it to.

Deal with coins

It’s already half a year for 2009, but the economy still does not show any sign of improvement. Visit babies day + my adventurous journey

Today is "visit babies day", Luee and I had visited SinSin, Sea Yan and their baby girls at their house. And why I say it's "adventurous"? because I drove.

Usually, when Luee was back, she drove. But today, her mum needed the car, so I gotta drive, otherwise we may gonna missed out our gathering of the day.

Both of the girls are having their birthdays in the same month - June. One of them will be moving to China, and the other one will be staying in her father's (my friend's husband's) house, and taken care by her grandma.

So happy to see their happy and satisfactory look on their faces.

About my 'adventure'... it's still ok. Although I have been turning to the wrong way for so mnay times, until I travelled all the way from Lebuh Ampang to almost Jalan Duta (=.=")...... it was scary, I thought I couldn't turn the way back, luckily after so many 'turns' and 'wrong ways', I finally get myself back to LA again. It's scary, yet excited, that's why I call it "adventure". haha!
