Christmas gift exchange 2012

Our team has gift exchange for Christmas this year as well. After having a great lunch, we had a lucky draw sessions for our gifts. Coincidently, HL got my gifts again. This is the third year she received my gifts consequtively. Is this a fate? or what we call: 缘份. hahahah! But I'm glad that she's the one who received it, actually.... I think the gift that I bought more suitable to her also.... :P

Guess what I've got? hmhm... it's the LED light + coin bank from Alia. My dad said it could be useful to him. hahahaha!

Merry Christmas everybody!

My First CSS - Dec 2012

After almost 2 years in the team, this is my first time, handling the CSS by myself, alone. With only my boss came in for a few minutes and helped with some quiz questions.

Previously I wasn't confident enough to handle this longest training we have in the center, especially I'm such a careless and always lose focus type of person. And I can't really handle difficult situations, challenging questions, problem attendees, fighting attendees............... etc. But surprisingly, it went quite well and I managed to finish the class without any mistake. Of course, thanks for the attendees for active participation and co-operations. Anyhow I know there are dead air, boring moment sometimes, but finally, everything goes fine.

It was so excited to be a trainer, for me it's more to an experience sharing moment, I share what I have learnt and also at the same time, listen to their stories. It was fun and interesting. I'm glad that I volunteered to take this chance as the trainer for this month, and I'm appreciate for those who joined my class, for being nice to me~~ hehe!

As a result of the survey, 94% satisfaction, not bad. As a first time CSS trainer, it's just meet my expectation. And from one of the feedback, what he likes the most is: the effort from the trainer. OMG~~ thanks for appreciating my effort, hahahaha! But I also hope that you gain something from the 3 days.

If I have chance to do it again, I'll try, although it's really tiring by standing and talking for 3 days.

By the way, CSS stands for Customer Service Skills. :)

Shila Amzah: An amazing voice

There are lots of shares in my FB walls everyday, including this. I couldn't remember her name at the beginning, although I actually watched a bit of the "One in a Million" singing competition TV show 4 years ago.

Then, I saw her name as "Shila", familiar. And then she is with her tudung now, then it attracted me. When I clicked into the link and watched the video, I was really impressed.

I can't say I'm blown away as exaggerated as the judges. She doesn't shock the audience with her high pitch or tone, but the quality and purity of her voice. She did it steadily in a stable tone that is the thing that impressed me. Like some of the judges said, she doesn't understand the lyrics but she could still express the feeling of the songs.

Maybe the reaction from the judges were a bit over and too much in the show, but I do agree that, she has connection with the audience, and sing into our hearts. She is not there to show off her skills, but to deliver the message and emotion of the songs. And about the judges, I can recognize those from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, and they are all famous singers in Asia so I don't doubt of their qualification of being the judges, btw I like some of their songs too.

However, due to the fact of her background, I really worry that she might not be able to go too much further. Exposure and performance like this has somehow against her religion. Anyhow, as a Malaysian, I'm proud for her to win the competition, to let the people in China, even Asian countries to learn that Malaysia has such a wonderful singer who can sing very well even in the language that she doesn't understand.

Great Job, Shila! And I wish to see you more in the future.

My last day

Today marked the official last day for me as a working human.... I'm officially "jobless" 😆 I can't tell what this feelin...
