You can see many old building like this in Malaysia, especially Ipoh, Penang, Melacca...... some of them still exists in KL city.
I don't really know how to tell a story about it, but when I look into it, it seems that there are many stories behind.
My grandma's house used to be like this as well, but my uncles had done some renovation on it, you cannot see the same old designed wooden windows anymore.
