What is Lasik?

I didn’t really know about LASIK, until some of my friends really took LASIK surgeries. When LASIK was first known by the public, many people still didn’t really trust it. Especially after some of the news about the side effects of it, people were getting more insecure about this new technology and would rather keep wearing glasses than taking the risk.

Actually you can find all the LASIK information nowadays from many resources, including Internet, magazines, books, newspapers, and so on.

After many years of research has been taken, now the LASIK technology has become more advanced, and also more secure and safe. The recovery can be up to 100% after the surgery, and therefore you don’t really need to take any risk, and you don’t even need to suffer from the pain, as long as you find a trustworthy LASIK center.

LASIK is good for those have serious shortsightedness, sensitive to contact lens or just wish to have a clearer vision. There are many LASIK center out there, and it also available in some of the hospitals, like the eye hospital where my Dad had his cataract surgery few months ago. The problem is, it’s still quite expensive for normal people. But I believe that with more advances on the technology, it’ll become more affordable in the future. So people can throw away their glasses and enjoy a better vision without barrier.
