Very Funny Boy.... hahaha

"One year here is challenging in working but I'm happy I have go through it. At the same time, much appreciate that my first year formal working life is so enjoyable and now is going to vacation. (It is too perfect for me!!)"

When you read the message above, you might think that this person is going to leave the company, right? But he's NOT. He's just got his contract renewed for another year, and having 6 days off (including weekend) starting from tomorrow. Then what is the thing so emotional for him that he would send out such a 'touching' message to all of us?

Very funny boy, huh? Hahahahaha (cannot stop laughing.... :D)

Congrats to CRM !!!

This month we just got 2 of the CCAM awards, this photo was taken because we want to give it as a souvenior for a member that just left our team.

We had a farewell dinner+gathering at Puchong Neway, and this is the first time I saw another face of our teammates, simply enjoyed. No serious faces, no arguments, no conflicts, just fun and laughter. I'm so glad that actually we can be together like this, there are many other people who call themselves "colleagues" cannot make it in this way. That's why I really appreciate it.

Exciting day for the newbie

I believe that today definitely is the most exciting day for our new agent, Jamil...

Susan and Jeff both on MC, there is no Korean agent available, as a newcomer, he has no choice but to go into work, start his first 'one-man show'!

Although today is Friday, Korean incoming calls still more than English and Mandarin, the total calls that 3 of us got still lesser than him. Anyway, as we know that he was the telesales person for one of the leading IT company before, so taking calls is not a big problem to him, it's just his technical knowledge is still not enough.

And he also became the first ever, got the compliment before he officially go on live, Amazing!

Luckily today is Friday and the 3Q closing is over, we have much time to 'have fun' backing him up, haha! I think he'll be no problem on live very soon.

Communication Barrier

I really don't know how to communicate with him. He's kind of having prejudice against me, everything I say or do he'll have something to say, and no matter how I respond, it'll end up with his comment that -- I'm hard to be communicate with.

I've already proved that it's not only I'm facing the problem, as some others also having the same feeling too. I admit that I'm not strong in communication skills, sometimes I also found difficulty in getting along with my peers, but I've never seen such a cranky person and so hard to communicate with.

I'm not good in fighting or arguing, so I just keep silent and swallow all my words and anger to myself. I know whatever I say he'll still fight back, he has no respect on me at all. I can say we have a great communication barrier between both of us.

What I hope now is, if we had a chance to move again, please please please don't set my seat next to him again.

CCAM awards in 2007

I can only find the CCAM awards photos for last year, but there are still many familiar faces in the photos. Guess which one is our 'BIG BOSS'? :P

SME

Finally, I got this title.
But I'm not really that 'excited' or happy at all.
Instead, it's more in tension and more responsibility is coming to me.
Anyhow, it's a good start, at least I got "something" after almost 3 years of hard work here.
Of course if you gave me a choice, I sure will still accept this role.

Silver and Bronze awards, competition among all other hundreds of local Call Centres, definitely is a great honour and motivation to our team, and gave me more passion to stay here and work harder to achieve my higher goals (although I don't really know what it is...)

CRM, gambateh! YF, Fighting! Team, Jia You~~!!

Congratulations~~!!!!

Just got a good news, our CRM team has won a Silver and Bronze for 2 of the categories in the 8th Annual CCAM (Customer Relationship Management & Contact Centre Association Malaysia) awards!!!

Our hardwork and efforts finally paid off. Although it's still not the gold yet... at least we've marked our name on it.

Best in-house Contact Center - Bronze
Best Mystery Shopper award - Silver

Ah.... Baah!

"Ah... Baah!" "Baah! Baah!" "Ah.... Buh!" "Ai... ya ya ya..."

This are all the words my little nephew likes to say recently. Previously he knew how to say "Ma Ma", but now what he wants to say is only "Baah", but I don't think it means that his father, it's just kind of voice that he likes to or only can pronounced.

Now, whoever he sees, he calls "Ah Baah!".

Gosh...... everyone is his Ah Ba (father) now.... (sweat...)

Another "Quote of the Week" in RCC

This is the other "Quote of the Week" in our office:

Cannot speak English??

I should have asked her name and position in the school. I can't imagine that a person who works in school, cannot communicate in English~~ Gosh! Even if a 'pasar aunty' can show off her English to the customer, how come a school can hire somebody that can't speak English?

My Korean colleague wants to send her little girl to primary school next year, so she called up the school and asked for the registration process, but the lady who answered can't really speak English, she can only speak Mandarin or Malay which my colleague can't speak any of them.

She's a Chinese~~ Oh My Gosh! What a shame to my own people. School doesn't teach English? Even if she is a secondary school graduate, she also should have learned English for > 10 years! Don't tell me they are hiring a primary school graduate... really unbelievable... (sweat...)

But at least it's better than Chinese do not speak Chinese.... right?

Is these all I got?

I took it as a 'surprise' when the TL brought me this...... she showed me the true 'sincereness' she has to us by bringing this as an 'appreciation'. I responded with a great thankful smile and words, but what she didn't realize was, there is a sneer in my heart.

What? After all the things that we've done, after we had left our busy jobs behind during the peak period, and this is what we got? It doesn't mean about the cost, it's showing how much appreciation you have to our hardwork -- a sticky note and 2 snacks < RM1 in total.

However, as what my friend told me, never care about your hardwork, and don't be upset if you found that nobody appreciates. Because every little thing that you've done today, will become part of your credit in the future. There's not much thing that you did is really a waste, somebody might have seen it.

This is what I always believe. And even if some may thought that we were doing silly and stupid work, but who knows, maybe next day, you'll find that what you do today is paid off.

The young man still couldn't understand, that's why he's arguing with me. I'm not first day working, although I'm not expert, I still know some rules in the corporate world. I've learnt a lot from other seniors, you have your own principles, then just go on with it. I won't try to convince you and please don't you try it too.

Plan for a new kitchen

My mum has been complaining about the old and dirty kitchen for quite a long time, since many years ago. We have been living here for about 25 years, and we hardly had it renovated, especially the kitchen, it’s quite simple and crude. After cooking for over 20 years in the kitchen, the wall is a bit cracked, and there are dirt and oily stains all over it, even the lighting tube in the ceiling also covered with dirt.

In my mum’s plan, she would always want to get a new kitchen cabinet to store the dishes and place the oven, blender and all those kitchen appliances. The most important thing is the cooker hood, so that she won’t get the oily smoke smears her face after cooking.

And also, the sink is very small and a bit rusty, if there is budget, she prefers to get a stainless steel sinks so that it will last longer. Stainless steel is easier to clean and maintain, and you don’t need to worry about the rust and oil as it’s quite easy to be removed.

Our kitchen is really too old and not only my mum, we all really think that it should get renovated, we have to get a cleaner and neater one. But budget of course is our main concern; anyhow it’s in our plan. Hopefully we could get it done in the near future.
