Visit Singapore - Day 2: Travel around the island

On the second day in Singapore, we actually started up quite late (around 10am). Straightaway we took a bus to Harbour Front MRT station, had a simple breakfast, then traveled to Sentosa island by bus.

The very last time I went to Sentosa was a few years ago, when Pey Ching and I were attending Wendy's wedding. Many friends were being our tourguide, bringing us around. If you asked me, I have already forgetten the way.

However, the best part is, as long as you know where you want to go, you won't get lost in Singapore. You can ask anyone anywhere for the way, and finally we (actually "I") decided to travel by bus. Last time, I even forgot how did we get there.

We arrived at the Beach station, and then took a tram to Tanjong Beach and Palawan Beach, after that took a monorail to the Waterfront station and hanging around. You can visit the casino and Universal Studios from here. We didn't enter the US because it costs SGD$72 per ticket! So we just walked around, took pictures and traveled back to the other side and continue our journey to Chinatown, Merlion Park and Orchard.

Sentosa - Singapore

This day we walked a lot, from City Hall station, to Explanade, Raffles City Shopping Centre, stopped by Merlion Park, then continue to the Raffles Place station, heading towards Orchard. I actually walked until my feet feel pain.

The Marina Bay Sands, a very spectacular building in Singapore.
