Problem

I knew that she's been under stress for quite long: household, financial, work, life...... she's so optimistic that has been overcome the stresses all these years. Yes, she's simple-minded, yet she's also so simple that she can't really think deep and find out a way to get away from all the conflicts and gossips.

She tries to get my help, but frankly, I really don't know what I can help. She's the one who in the environment, and nobody else can help her if she doesn't find a way out. The best way to avoid gossips is never listen to it, but then she still wants to hear about it and yet easily get affected and emotional on it. Why for if you knew that you'll feel hurt and unhappy and you still wanna listen?

We have been trying to give her so much advices and helps all these years, but still she keeps her own mind and unchanged. Who can help her if she didn't help herself and listen to us.

Now I just leave her alone, and let her calm herself down. Sometimes we just need some time to think alone.

My first drive to work

I admit that, I'm still new to become a single driver. 'Single' for me meaning that nobody especially my dad is beside me. It's a bit 'scary' driving alone, especially when others around are all skillful drivers. Of course, 'skillful' mean to me is that, no matter what the road sign of speed limit is, their 'average speed' will always be 100 km/h, without hitting anything.

It was really a great adventure for me, the most 'scary' part was in a junction, I decided not to slow down behind a slow motorcyclist, and I ended up cutting into the opposite way, and there was a car approaching me in a rather short distance. Fortunately I was able to turn back to my lane, it was so close! And after that I decided, no matter how slow the front vehicle is, I still have to stick in my own lane, otherwise I'll get another 'adventure' again.

Luckily I was able to get back safe from my 'adventure'. I'll still be driving in coming 2 weeks, hopefully I'll have a safe and pleasant journey.

Three Kingdoms

It's quite hard to write the review in English, coz it's a Chinse movie. The story is based on a Chinese and history, or more like a legend, which happened for more than a thousand years ago.

I watched the movie with my brother, but because of I was late, we were only able to get the very front seats. It wasn't a great experience actually, that might be the reason why it affected my preference on this movie.

The whole story actually is surrounding one of the famous military general for Shu -- Zhao Yun (Zhao Zi Long), others are just minor roles. The good thing is, it's not really that bloody.

New LCD monitor

If it wasn't because of the screen went off suddenly 2 days ago, my brother wouldn't have decided to buy a new one, furthermore, LCD.

I'm sorry but have to admit that, even though I'm a IT-graduated, but in terms of hardware, it's my weakest part (software also very bad... :P). My brother did involve me when doing research on selecting the best model. But even if I've tried my best to read through the specs, I'm still not really know them...

Now we got a new LCD monitor at home, and my brother actually didn't ask me for share or pay for it... hehe... but still, as it's not under my property, so I will not have much 'control' or 'right' on it. Anyway, as long as it's at home, I still can use it during weekdays.

My second drive

My second drive. Passenger: my mum, sis and boy2 again. Destination: Balakong Taman Impian Ehsan. Purpose: bring products to a customer.

My dad just had his cataract surgery, so he can't drive for at least 2 weeks, can't even go out. So I have to be the one who drive them out.

There was a few "shouts" along the way (:P), but trust me, I believe that practice makes perfect. They'll trust on me someday... hehe!

My first drive

Of course this is not actually the first ever driving alone experience in my life. I still remember, the first time I drove alone (without my dad by my side actually) was driving my friend home, just a few streets away, not far. But driving for my family, without the 'guidance' from my dad, really, it's the first time.

My dad was having some other things to do, my brother too. So I be the one who took the responsibility to drive them out for shopping. The passenger: my mum, my sis and boy boy (my nephew).

This one certainly is not something that can be proud of, but for me, it's my first breakthrough. I believe that in the future, I'll have more opportunities to drive alone.

Cataract Surgery

My dad was having a cataract surgery today, my brother and I took a day leave to bring him and my mum together to the hospital.

The operation was taken place in The Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital. We had arrived before 8am, but because there were too many patients, we had been waiting for more than 4 hours until it's in our turn. The whole operation only took 1+ hour, and then we have to wait for him to rest again, and again for more than 3 hours. By the time we left, it's already almost 5pm.

My dad should have taken the surgery 3 years ago, otherwise he would still be able to take the laser operation. But the best thing is, finally he can overcome his own fear and went into the operation room.

Finally, finally...... after installed the bluetooth's driver, I can download all the photos, musics and videos from my mobile now!!

Can you imagine that? Every time I want to download a photos, I have wait until my best friend came back from Singapore, to send it to her mobile via bluetooth, and then wait until she went back to Singapore, downloaded and then sent it back to me via email...... troublesome huh?

It sounds unbelievable but really, I can only start to download my mobile's photos now.

Non-sleep baby

It's already the 3rd day, the baby suddenly doesn't want to sleep at night. It's not only he's awake, and also very 'noisy' too, keep squirming and shouting non-stop. My parents also lost patience to him now, the first 2 night, my father had tried to control his temper on him, and now is my mum.

Wonder why he doesn't want to sleep at night. It's already 12.50am now, dunno when he'll willing to sleep... zzzz

Finally, finally, finally I can use my laptop to go online, using the wireless network without my brother's notice... :P

Actually I don't need to be so secret like this, but he said if I'm using wireless at the same time while he's on the net, then his internet connection will be very slow.

Hey! I'm the one who is paying the internet registration fee, installation fee and 1/2 of the monthly accessing fee here... how come I don't have the right to use the internet even need your permission?

No choice, just because he's my elder brother and I have to listen to him... but the belast thing is, as long as he doesn't notice, I still can use the wireless 'in secret'... and another good thing is, I've mostly 'in control' of my laptop now... I can install the software and applications I need, no need his permission and see his 'black face' anymore.

But also, hopefully I didn't 'spoil' it with my clumsiness and neglectfulness just because of installing inappropriate software or accessing the wrong website here...

Yoga & Beauty Workshop

Today I 'gave up' my FF combat class, just to join a yoga test class and a hands-on beauty workshop at mYoga, The Gardens.

I'm a combat fan and like the actions and movements of kungfu very much, but somehow Yoga can also give me a peaceful and calm feelings, especially when you do not want to get sweat along the way, it's the best exercise and activity you can choose.

And the Estee Lauder beauty workshop, actually was just something like a new launch and testing of their new product, Cyber Ex whitening skincare. They've spent the first 50 minutes just to do the skin test for the attendees. And then 10-15 minutes presentations on their new products. And then started to test their products, from cleanser, toner, essence to moisturizer, even can test on their new foundation too.

I still remember the last time I joined this kind of workshop was years ago, it was conducted by Kanebo and located in Nanyang Siang Pau building. I never really emphasize on my skincare, but as my skin is getting drier and drier, I think I shall start to really take care of my skin now.

Grand Opening... RCC Cyberjaya

After moving in to this new building since last December, finally we were having our grand opening today. To show our international business and cultures, all the ushers were wearing their traditional costume: other than baju kurung, kebaya, sari and cheongsam that represent Malaysian culture, because of we have native Japanese and Korean in our team, they are also wearing their Kimono and Hanbok while inviting our guests.

The event was officiated by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili.

As a helpdesk agent, we needed to be on duty and tried our best to LLB (look like busy) in front of our dearest visitors. All staffs were advised to wear formal, better to have ties on, polo shirts and khakis pants which are allowed on normal working days were not recommended on this 'grand' day. Since my seat is the nearest to the walkway and entrance, of course I have to be always be alerted, sit properly, and of course, LLB again.... :P

I didn't have time to join the open ceremony, but I did 'enjoy' the buffet down there at the cafeteria, after all the VIPsss left, and managed to take photos with my colleagues in their traditional wear. It's quite an amazing moments, and we can only have this kind of events once in a blue moon (we can't expect another grand opening again in the near future, huh?), that's why I have to grab this oppty to have a time to have a shot for this.

Undersleep...zzz

Since I got a broadband service at home, I found that I have too much things to do with the Internet; too many videos to watch, too many emails to check, need to 'play' with my facebook, games, update my blogs and always prepare to grab my paid post opportunities.

And consequently, I end up getting late night sleep and lesser sleeping time. I knew it's really not healthy at all, but I just can't control myself to leave my computer away. I can't imagine if one day my laptop is ready for use, the thing will become worse. How much time I'll spend with my computers? I really think that I got 'poisoned' by computer viruses.....

"Perfect" agent?

According to their point of view, the reason why I'm still remain in this position without proceeding, is not because my performance is not good, but on the contrary,, it's actually my performance is 'TOO PERFECT'?

Why? Because I performed so well in first level support, so I seems to be 'destined' to be a Level 1 support. Morever, my nearly unseen leadership skill doesn't convince them I can be promoted to a management level. Then the conclusion is, this is the BEST position for me.

So, does it mean that I have to be lower my performance so that they can find me another opptys? But if I really did that, then I might lose my only value of staying here. It's sad to have this situation here, isn't it?

Busy day again...

2 ALs, 1 finished at 2, after that, only 1 person left in a mandarin team, and 2 other teammates from another team... is there anything can come worse that that? Furthermore we still need to follow up cases for those who absented.

After a whole day busy at work, I start to feel a back pain and back neck pain... it seems like every part of me is feeling uncomfortable now. In addition to the server down issue, I can say today is the worst day for this year till today. But 'luckily' I still managed to go out to have my lunch, otherwise will be another starving people here.

Server down

I'm quite 'free' now, because the server is down, since yesterday afternoon.

It's quite unbelievable especially in such an international standard corporate, a server down will take more than 6 hours to fix... and it's not fixed yet. It has been causing high impact on our daily work as we are the support...

The 'suspect' is believed that was the one who sent out a huge huge email twice yesterday. Maybe he didn't expect his email size could be so big... but it really has caused a huge impact in the center... any disciplinary action will be taken? I don't think so... coz he's quite a 'big' guy here...

p/s: The server finally up in the afternoon. At least it could be resolved within 24 hours and meet the criteria for a high-severity issue. But hopefully this kind of "accident" won't come again and we totally cannot work at all!

Night at the station

I have been waiting at the station since 6.40pm, according to the clock hanging up there. The bus service here is getting worse, although when first they launched the new system, they promised that there will be a schedule routine everyday, but it now seems they are not doing their job well.

The bus frequency and schedule, as what I see, it's more depends on the drivers rather than the management itself. Especially for the one I take everyday, the driver never punctual. When they reached the station, they would hanging around, or chatting with other drivers at the station, until they are 'feeling good' to drive again. Sometimes the interval might more than 1 hour!

Are they encourage us to take public transport with this kind of service? No wonder most of my friends buy cars and have their own transports. It's not because we are rich, we do not have a choice!

Sick baby

My nephew was ill last Friday, having a bit fever. As my mum said, while he should be feeling uncomfortable, he kept laughing with nobody tickling him in the clinic, either in front of the doctor or at the counter. The doctors and nurses also laughed with his cheefulness, however, they didn't aware that this might be a bit awkward, because he even had a sudden laugh when he's in the car on the way home. My mum felt it's a bit 'scary' but she also thought that it might because he's too sick until couldn't control himself, isn't it? (Yerr....)

But fortunately, he went back to 'normal' when he's getting recovered on the next day. Still a bit fever, but getting better. At least he didn't give a sudden laugh anymore.

Lenovo... finally

Finally, I got myself a laptop. I was thinking to buy a Dell or HP... but finally it is Lenovo.

Don't ask me why, it's not my own decision after all, hahaha. My brother recommended it to me and according to him, it's the cheapest among the same specs, and actually Lenovo's notebooks are quite good in quality regardless of their design (Thinkpad is more look like a 'square box' that makes it not popular among young generations).

But this is different. Ideapad is their new products, with new look and quite high-end technology -- I don't know how to determine if it's latest or not, but at least it's enough for me to use, and anyhow I just trust my brother on it.

Now it doesn't fully installed yet because when we bought it, it's empty inside. If I want to install Vista I gotta pay extra RM199. So far Vista is not really that stable actually and still many software incompatible with it, so we gave up Vista. XP is not available with the sellers, now I'm still need to wait for the machine fully installed.

The best part is, finally I can get my own computer (although it's not a desktop pc), and hopefully I can have full control on it. (And full maintenance responsibility by my brother... hahahaa.)

Busy online

I don't know why, I knew it's not healthy, but somehow it seems like I can't live without computer for a single day. And you know what, I'm very busy when I'm on the line; I have to be prepared to grab my opptys for paid post, I want to watch videos like TV programmes and drama series on youtube, I have to update and play with my facebook, of course can't leave out is checking my emails. Now I've left my cari forum and friendster behind, but still I'll check and update it once in a blue moon.

Although I'm that busy, but it sounds quite meaningless. Except for the paid post thing which can be my new earnings (although it's not much at all), others are just wasting time activities. I can't get any knowledge or skill from there, it'll not help on my health but it's the other way, using too much computers will affect your health.

I'm now still learning on how to reduce my time on the computer, otherwise I believe that within 5 years, I'll find my health index is dropping rapidly.

Another training session

While I thought that I could end my 'training daymare' in the second session, unexpectedly, due to 'active and positive response' from the audience, we couldn't finish the refreshment training again. We would need to get the third session in the future, and hopefully next time we can finish, otherwise it'll be 'never-ending story' for this.

Although this is a so-called 'refreshment' training, as most of us are very experienced in the application support, I would like to say it's better to be called a information-sharing and experience-sharing session, where everyone can share out their experience while supporting users and how to do the troubleshooting.

If I'm not the one who needs to present the contents, I would definitely love this moment.

I'm talking about my little nephew at home. Since he can see things clearly now, he likes to grab, touch, scratch everything with his little hands. He'll grab everything around him, after 'observing' for a while, he'll put it into his mouth to 'taste' it. When we carry him, his hands always like to scratch our faces. His little fingers had left so many scratch marks on his grandpa and grandma's face and body, now it's my turn.... oh no~~

New day, new place

I have to admit that, I really don't really like my new seat. It's too near to the entrance, furthermore I'm back towards the management area, that means, if they walk towards the entrance from my back, I'll never know. It's quite 'dangerous' for me, as... you know... I'm not always opening the website that I 'suppose' to open 'only'.

But I can't change anything now, since I've already moved here. The only thing I can do is just to be more aware and careful about my surroundings.

One thing I cannot 'tahan' about this place is, there is a guy over the other team, always turn up his voice seems like shouting over the phone, likes he afraid that nobody could hear what's he talking about. Moreover, he's not always being so polite, no matter whom he's speaking to on the phone, please lah! this is call center, don't use '4-letter' word, OK?

She was known as a math prodigy, when she was accepted by Oxford university at the age of 12.

Frankly, I didn't notice about her news before, until I read the newspaper few days ago, about she's currently working as a prostitute in London.

Is that every fate of prodigy? She remembers me another well-known genius, Chiang Ti Ming. But his life end as a tragedy, his talent didn't bring him good life and happiness. It's what I think, is a sad thing for those who are more than a normal people.

Hopefully Sufiah can get what is really suitable for her, and have a real happiness.

Offline again

After using broadband for one month (it's almost exactly one month since last 3 March), suddenly my line is down.

It's just yesterday, about 1/2 hour before midnight, while I was still on the line, suddenly the connection went off, the ADSL light keep on, blinking and off repeatedly. I thought my pc got problem or got infected again, but then when I called the helpline, the agent confirmed that, after she checked my registered phone number status, the internet connection is down.

She told me it might take 2, 3 working days to fix the problem, but it's already Friday, and weekend is considered off day, then I only can get back my connection next Monday, or even later!

Oh gosh... I gotta off the line again~!

Move again

After moving new office for 5 months, we need to change our seats again. Now the change is within our team itself, not all the team members are involved, but I'm one of them. The reason they want to make the changes, is to "facilitate better communication..." oh gosh~~~

The new workstation I'm moving to, is at the side, facing the main entrance, beside the walkway, that means many people will pass by my seat. I will not have much 'freedom' in the future because everybody can look at my monitor, especially one of our management team are far behind me.

I just took less than 1/2 hour to move my place, it's just 2 seats away after all. Now I need some time to get used to this place. I don't really like it, but I have to. Hopefully next week will be another better day.

8-month old

Why I'm the one who record this? I'm just his aunt but not his mum... but anyway, since his mum is not good in IT and do not have any idea on blogging, so I take the responsibility to record down her precious son's monthly development records.

Time really flies, before we realized, our little "boy boy" is 8-month old now. He spends most of the time with us as his parents (my sister and brother-in-law) only visit him once in a week or even longer. My dad found that he's a but insecured that always want to stick to my mum or dad. When we put him alone in the room (living room or bedroom) he'll feel frightened and shout with fear. (My mum could tell....)

He's no doubt a cheerful baby, still likes to smile and laugh. Sometimes when he's in 'good mood', he can laugh out loud even nobody amused him or played with him. If it's in daytime, my parents would willing to play with him, but if it's at night, especially late night, we have to suffer because need to 'sacrify' our sleep to accompany him.

He's starting to take solid food now, and he likes it more than milk. Now we still feed him every 2-3 hours, and add 4 spoons of infant cereal rice. Sometimes if my mum is free enough, she'll feed her the mashed potato+egg. He likes it very much!

He still unable to sit and crawl, sometimes when he lay down on his tummy and then bend his knees up, when we thought that he's moving forward, somehow he's moving backwards....(faint) He still need some time to learn how to crawl and sit. He's a preemie anyway.

Despite his fussiness sometimes when he's not in 'good mood', hungry or sleepy, he's still a very lovely and adorable baby.

A memorial day for Leslie Cheung

The once most famous Hong Kong artist Leslie Cheung, committed suicide on April Fool, 5 years ago.

It was a shock and everyone thought that it's another joke on the April Fool, until the news going on the next day, the media really reported about it. It was real!

I'm not a big fan of Leslie, but I like his songs and movies. He is no doubt a great actor and singer, regardless of his personal life. Until now, his personal relationship has still becoming a hot topic in public. But why do we care about it? Sometimes normal marriage also cannot guarantee a lifetime relationship, as long as they're honest to each other, why does it matter who is his partner?

Some of Leslie's songs and movies have become classical, there is nobody else can reach what he's achieve along the way. It's glad that he still left some precious things for us to keep in our memories. I wish for his peace and happiness forever.

April FOOL~~~

Today is April Fool. Luckily nobody 'fool' me today... haha! I have to admit that, I'm not really 'good' in 'fool-ing' people, or to be exact, it might because I'm afraid I'll get someone mad with me, I seldom play 'fool' to my friends, not even when I was in school. And maybe my friend also thought that I'm not that 'fun' to play with, they seldom 'fool' me too. Without the 'fool-ing' activities, April Fool has become less interesting for me. But of course, I prefer nobody will 'celebrate' this day with me.

Las Vegas, always be a paradise for tourists around the world. It has been the world class entertainment center for all the performers and audiences. You can find the world most famous performance and concert here. Of course it’s mainly famous with its casino. Don't ask me why, I just want to take one day 'off' as a 'delivery girl'.

It was sunny and rather hot, because of some 'technical problem', I walked out for lunch alone. This might be the first time in these few months, I came back with only one pack. It sounds quite bad, but I just want to take a rest.

Walking under the burning sun is very tiring. Furthermore if you have to carry a big and heavy pack with you, then it's more exhausting. I know I shouldn't haggle over every ounce like this, but please forgive me, I just want to treat myself better today.

Sometimes you may doubt that, you don't know who is right and who is wrong.

I still remember the first ever reality TV show I watched -- Survivor. In the competition, all the people will pretend to be nice to everyone else, building alliances, making promises. But when he got the trust from the others, suddenly he set them up, the one who thought was safe in the tribal council, found that he's been voted off by his most trusted comrade.

Of course I don't have such terrible conspirator around me, but sometimes there are some pretenders among the group of people. You won't know what's real in their mind, some words from their mouth not exactly what they meant. That's why it's depends on your wisdom to judge which is right and which is wrong, and also which one can be trusted.

In the TV shows, the consequence of being setted up, is losing their USD$1 mil, but in real life, although you don't have $1mil to lose, the outcome can also be serious. It depends on how deep you trust the person, and how much they wanna get from you.

Realism is cruel sometimes.
